seeing black, Christian, south african women talk about every day things that we face as girls and children of God is so refreshing. Finally something i can actually not only relate to but learn from as well. This is a great podcast to watch as a young black teen for real

People aren't born failures. People make choices which eventually become habits in the course of their life that leads to failure. However, failure is a true reality but it is not predestined it is orchestrated by the choices you make and habits you take on. Love the podcast. Keep doing what you doing.
@berrolookeditse15447 ай бұрын
True. I also believe failure is a reflection of the choices and habits you take on. At times we believe that we’re making the right choices but failure does shows us that it is not the perfect route, try going another way. We aren’t born failures, it’s about choices and not moving in the right direction.

Yoh I’m tired too cause when I say God has called me to break generational curses (first generation healed) that I didn’t even make, i wanna cry sometimes because I’m not able to make the same mistakes like others for example dating. God said “you not dating because it could cause a big mess in your life”… crazy part is that he visually showed me what the fruits of being faithful is like and the opposite and I can see it everytime I think about it… but staying faithful is tiring yet we still pushing… I recently just conquered two generational curses so that encouraging ☺️☺️

Appearantly Jesus being a carpenter is significant because he spent his entire career hammering nails into wood and would sometimes accidently hit himself with a hammer or even nail his fingers causing bleeding. This was preparation for his ministry on the cross. (Heard this from my brother)

I agree with Mpho in the success thing. People who aren't successful is a result of their input. Sometimes spiritual. Just imagine if someone said you will not be successful coz it's just written, that wouldn't be true coz you can look at your actions and where they have taken you.

I believe even people who we say are ‘failures’ succeed at certain points in their lives, and the same with successful people, they fail at some point but that doesn’t mean they are failures. Failure for me is being misaligned to God’s will. So I agree with Mpho on failure being more spiritual than physical.
@Thuto.Ngwenya7 ай бұрын
That's my chat as people at some point we all gonna face failure which helps us to succeed bcs how do you know success if you've never failed in life so I definitely second Mpho's statement

52:16 I understand what Caiah is saying about some people are just failures nje by nature…and I know no one’s wants to hear that coz that’s deep and hurts but it’s true. There has to be people who are succeeding and there has to be people who are failing in order to clearly see the difference (everything in life has a balance, Yin Yang) someone has to be poor so that someone can be deemed as rich. Someone has to be the dumb one so that there could be someone who we call genius. Someone has to be the sewage working guy so that the could be a Doctor out there. We call can’t be doctors or lawyers someone has to take the job of cleaning the streets or be a teacher. We all have different roles in life and they are all very beneficial to each other. Every role you play in the society is important no matter what it is.

So success for me is living up to what you have been called to be, being the best version of yourself that also inspires and impacts the society in any kind of positive way, whether it be minor or major as long as you are a positive impact and your growth allows societal growth. I love you Mpho and Caiah, and i also relate to Caiah's exhaustion òf existence and carrying out the duties given by God to me for the world, spirituality can be very tiring.😭👍🏽okay sho

My definition of success is building a solid relationship with God and owning up to my purpose. On the success and Failure debate, I have to agree with Caiah, it is not everyone is meant to be successful. God reveals himself in a lot of things and in everything, sometimes God uses the unprivileged to show us his greatness

I think the thought of success is broad. It doesn't have to be extravagant; its the smallest thing one can achieve. While some graduate, others find work as petrol attendants and that is enough for their capacity. The thought of opening a snack business like the aunties out there, is successful enough cause that's all they could reach. And so everyone is successful in their own capacity. I don't know if I'm confusing success with not having means. But little success is success

55:36 We ONLY know that evil exists because good existed first God is good Evil is evil The only time we are able to claim that something is evil is when God has already said that it is good , the devil only knows how to work in opposition to God and will always try to twist or change God's words , that is why the devil can never be a step ahead of God , because he can only move once God has taken His first step

My love language in relationships is words of affirmation and I think it stems from that fact that I want u to tell me that u adore me and that u like me for me to feel secure with u cause words to me are like a blanket and a warm hug but flop comes when u tell me u love me or like me and whatever but your actions aren't aligning but because u telling me that u still like me and care I will thug it out in a way cause u saying u still wanna make it work But also at the same time I'm a very quick person when it comes to leaving my parents cause it's like one mistake or disappointment or u hurt me once u are gone cause I'm trying to protect my peace in a way and I feel like it's a bad thing but idk heyy I've been trying to be patient and kind of understanding so I think love love language and my constant need to protect myself clash sometimes
