Are you a ‘Mouth Breather’? Do you wake up in the morning with a headache? This month, Frank Hanley returns to discuss the effects of ‘mouth breathing’ and how FSHD can cause diaphragm weakness. In PART 1 of the June “Feeling Fit” sessions, Frank will demonstrate breathing and breathwork exercises to promote nose breathing and help strengthen the diaphragm.
“During a check-up, the doctor asked me if I was waking up with headaches. He was concerned that FSHD could be weakening my diaphragm. I started to practice special breathing exercises to strengthen my diaphragm and improve my breathing. Within days, the headaches were gone.”
