Feeling Safe in ODOO Report Builder V17

Report Builder V17 is definitely a step back, but that doesn't mean we can't feel safe and have a healthy relationship with it. Follow the steps I've outlined here to make sure that you don't lose all your hard work.

Hello. Thank you for working on such an important topic, as I didn't like reports in v17. Now my qestion is: what is the tool you are using for creating your video (I mean setting your video at the corner of the video while keep working on your computer?would you please help in this regards :)

Some great practices to setup a good foundation to rebuild the reporting relationship!! It someways it's almost starting to seem like, once you get sued to it, working directly in the HTML may be less frustrating.

Hello, since I know nothing about HTML, I found a person to help me with the report layout, but I realised the person did a bad job, the "containers" are messed up. Can I use the "reset report" function to reset the report. After reset it, would it be same as the odoo original report?

I'd duplicate it and try resetting it, but I'm not certain that will fix it for you as it can be a mixed bag. Sorry!

Thanks, bro. Your method is working for customizing quotations, however, I've tried it for Invoices and it seems to give me the below error... "Report edition failed Saving the report "Invoice V1" failed. This may be due to an incorrect syntax in the edited parts. Error message: Error while render the template" Can you please guide me in this?

Sadly, this could be any number of things. The errors have gotten worse in this edition as well. Is that happening immediately after you create a duplicate?
