Personally, regardless of whether the youtuber that I watch says "subscribe and like" or not, I'm just gonna do it if I liked the content that I watched. However,I ususally don't comment on videos even if I really loved what I watched, except if the person asks an interesting question or encourages it. I always enjoy watching your videos louise! LOL, I have a strokey too, Pearl! Mine is an Unhide blankie, sooooo soft! Louise, your pancakes are lovely! Lemon and sugar on mine, please! Darcy is still a wonderful daughter, I can see when she gets through the teenaged angst she will be a good friend still. You have a wonderful relationship with her, it's heartwarming to see. Generally, if I like a video, I'm going to subscribe, but most of the videos I see I'm already subscribed. If I see the video within a day or two of posting I will like it, but otherwise it does no good as far as ranking of that video.

Our cats get stressed when we go away and used to wee on beds too (apparently when they wee on the bed, it’s on the side of their fave person!) We found the best way to combat it is to shut all bedroom doors and plug in pheromones to chill them out (feliway is good!)

Seeing this SO much later than you posted, but I had to comment on the sewing kit and proper fabric scissors - they are a necessity for every person. You don't have to be a fashion designer at all. Also - it's nice to know you can tweak you clothing if you want to and need to. So glad you got yourself this. Just as necessary as nice cooking pots. Good for you!!

For me personally, asking to subscribe and like doesn't really do anything. I think it must be more important to youtubers with a younger audience. So it does feel a bit childish to me, and I view doing that more like seeing the credits in a movie. It's pretty pointless to me.

Louise, if you want to learn to hem I would suggest getting a skirt from the thrift store and practicing first. I would also go to the local fabric or craft store for better thread, that is probably only enough for a child's skirt and the thread in sewing kits gets tangled and breaks very, very easily. Best of luck! Sewing is a lot of fun. In re: like and subscribe, I like the reminder! But I've been subbed to you for years so I'm all set ;)

I'm teaching myself to sew with the hope I will one day be able to alter clothes I find at the charity shop, my only issue is I have difficulty imagining the potential of items (something you are clearly great at). Top Cooking Tip Louise, save some of the water you cooked the pasta in and use it to help melt the cream cheese and help it coat the pasta evenly! go slow tho and just do a splash at a time, or else the cheese sauce will be to watery. watching Pearl laugh at being danced around the the "Cooking Segment" Song was such Pure Joy to see!

Random fact: I'm coming into the final month of pregnancy with my second child and related on such a deep level to you saying "Mummy's closed". I've said something similar for most of this pregnancy because it has been so hard physically, emotionally, and mentally. I know it will all be worth it when I hold my little one, but I can say with surety that I've checked the box on this particular life experience. :)

Omg I have those MAM bottles for my 5 month old!! We got them when he was suffering with colic as they let air out the bottom while he's drinking so he drinks less air, was a god send for us because we tried every colic relief type thing and nothing worked! Would highly recommend these bottles!!

I understand why content creators ask to like/subscribe/comment but personally I really dislike it, for me it's as subtle as a company saying 'buy my stuff'. As you said, by now I believe we all know how it works. I will subscribe to someone I enjoy watching regularly (like yourself), I will sometime like but very rarely comment.
