Renee, thank you so much for this video. The lines that had the most impact for me were when you said that all I have to do is love my inner child and that my inner child doesn't have to do ANYTHING to receive love from me. I feel like my therapist has been saying that to me for years and it finally clicked. Thank you so much! Now I know how to better give myself unconditional love and I can continue to move forward with healing this! It's taking years but it's so worth it! Much love!!!

From around 2yrs of innerwork. What ive realised is that. Anything that says No while you start to do anything or anything that stops you with excuses is your ego trying to protect you. Even while doing eft sessions there were times when i feel like leaving it mid way I don't have any problems. It needs certain event thing people situation to lay the blame on complaining in general. Before doing anything like that understand that its the child in us that ego keeps on protecting always keep this in mind. Once i understood this concept i was able to figure things out fast. Keep a journal to record the trajectory of what happened between you and a person be honest youll get to know the part you played in it. It all starts and ends with us. This is a hard pill to swallow. Acceptance and letting it go. This is the only way to freedom.

That's a huge breakthrough! When the tapping opens the wound, keep going and tapping a few more rounds. I've been using tapping for years and it literally transformed my life. I recommend doing the same one for 30 days in a row. Many times you'll feel better in the first 3-4 days, but counting to tap brings up deeper subconscious forms of the wound and releases them too. Really amazing stuff❤

Thank you so much. What I keep noticing is that sometimes I feel guilty or shameful for starting to love myself like I don’t want it to turn into pride or a big head (I know these are not mutually exclusive) but it feels like I sometimes hold myself in guilt because I don’t want to excuse any bad behavior that comes out. I was wondering if you have any videos that go along with that theme?

Thank you very much for this tapping. It helps tremendously. I have been raised by a narcissistic father and a codependent mother. My father has always been judgemental and offered conditional love. When my mother passed away it has been dreadful for me. I know see all his unresolved issues and I have broken the family patterns. I live happily with my two daughters and my husband. I learn to love myself everyday.

Thanks for your videos...I have just started tapping and I keep coming back to yours! I have a question for the scriptd and words I'm speaking. What if in my head I am denying what I m saying as I'm speaking it. So for example: "I deeply love and accept myself" and in my head I'm thinking No I don't or " You are worthy of love" No I'm not. And for almost each one these thoughts happen instrusively. Is tapping going to help me still or do I have to fully believe the words I am saying? MYbe I do believe them but I have OCD/instrusive thoughts so its hard to keep myself from thinking these things as I tap. Thanks ❤
@staceyvaas12103 жыл бұрын
Jennifer, keep tapping on it. The tapping will change your thoughts and eventually replace the old patterns with new. You can learn more about this possibly by reading some or watching some Jessica Ortner. I just finished participating in the 13th Annual Tapping World Summit. They talked about this in several of the videos. The message I took away was to keep tapping on it. I think what you are experiencing is not uncommon. After all our thoughts patterns have been a part of our thinking for so long. Best wishes.
@Tatacchan3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jennifer, I understand what you mean completely. In my experience, it's a sign that I need to DIG DEEPER. So I would ask myself (during an EFT session or before/after...it doesn't matter when) "why am I not believing these words?" "What am I really feeling when I say them?" "Why am I holding on those things?". Stacey is right that it helps if you keep tapping on it and don't give up. However it's important not to gloss over the problem and just "force your way through it".....it's not healthy. And it's going against the self-love we are trying to develop towards ourselves. So my humble suggestion is to keep on tapping and to dig deeper as to the WHY.
@kolsen54202 жыл бұрын
I struggle with this tapping because I had accepting, kind parents/family and never was bullied. I'm honestly unsure how I have the self esteem issues I do currently in my late 20s. I felt deeply unworthy/different beginning in my late teens and developed an eating disorder which has only spiralled. I'm changing some of the words in this tapping sequence because I don't believe my parents are at fault. Its just confusing because how does one developed these issues just out of the blue? I feel so profoundly different and unworthy..

@kolsen5420 hello, sometimes we think all was fine in our family but it could be a defense mechanism and for exemple, tout parents could have been nice but in the same time don't respond to your emotional needs for attention, safety... I think your issues don't Come from nowhere, sometimes we need external point of view, a therapist aknowledged with complex ptsd, to find what was wrong. It was my case, i was in the deny of the reality of my childhood too (excuse my english, i'm french)

I think it can be helpful if you repeat and repeat the same ones for some days if the wound is very, very deep for you. Doing one round of tapping won't do much in many cases. At least, that's my opinion. I don't just rely on tapping, though.

Thank you. I have struggled so much with this so much so that as a teenager and young adult I believed the mean things my family or my partner said about me. I had a hard time sticking up for myself because of that. I carried so much shame for a long time and was heavily into the codependent programming. I’ve distanced myself from my family in order to heal, it’s gotten better but there’s still a lot of pain there.
