Absolutely breathtaking in its simplicity. The silent dialog of the film allows one to melt into the locale to hear the birds, bells, wind, rain and whistling as if we were there with you among these glorious people. Congratulations Mathieu for the video & sound production and the title scrolling. Thank you Robert for being you. It would appear that your objectives were achieved during this trip. I eagerly anticipate more of the same in part 2. Amitofo. 1-3-2012

What a great documentation of Bhutan and its people you have done! It feels very authentic and orginal to me, even though I´ve never even been in Bhutan. "How do you resume a normal life after this?" Perhaps the only satisfiyng solution in the long run, would be to settle down there, learn the language and immerse your self in the astonishing culture, landscapes and people? It seems to me that you´ve had a beautiful and life changing experience anyhow, and I´m glad to, through watching this video, be able to eat just a tiny fragment of the big, nasty cake!

+benu Khatri its better to start teaching kids early from a young age and all bhutanese students start learning english from preprimary(5 years). bhutan doesn't want maoist like nepal.

+Ramesh Thakuri haha doesn't matter which age they enter school or start learning in a school setting they may be learning at home from their educated parents at 1 or 2 months also but my point is at least bhutanese students get to learn in schools (the one shown in the video is one of the most remote in the country) which won't be bombed or their teacher massacred by your so called beloved revolutionary maoists which you seem to prefer and bhutan is a constitutional monarchy like the u.k, japan, sweden, denmark, norway but by your definition or logic they are autocratic dicks. do notice the human development index of those countries compared to yours
