The observation, „your technique reflects your intention“, is so holistic and almost philosophical and encapsulates so well for me why these lessons are so good.

I have all the incorrect mental images, and beliefs that you named! No wonder my shots go into the net so often! I can't wait to go onto the court and put your advice into practice! All your videos are top notch. I am so thrilled I found you on KZbin. Your instructions have given me so much more solid understanding of the fundamentals, and dispel incorrect ideas I didn't even know I had! I love that your instructions are solidly grounded in biomechanics and the dynamic chain of movement. Plus your exercises are so simple, yet give us the FEEL of what you're imparting. "Feel Tennis" is a great name. Can't thank you enough, Tomaz!

I believe this is finally going to fix my inability to keep a forehand down. Now instead of trying to avoid high forehand I will hit high on purpose. I never would have thought of using a mental approach to fix a physical problem.

As an adult that just started playing a few weeks ago, I have to say your videos and instruction are amazing. Your drill are simple and break down the sport to its core aspects, such as the drill presented in this video about starting aiming high above the net while still trying to land in play, then working your way down. Can't wait to really start implementing these drills on the court. You also do an excellent job of explaining the mental aspects that get in the way of beginners being able to grow their game and improve. Great Job!

Thank you Tomaz. Since i've started playing tennis i've been watching almost every video on this channel but sometimes i've get lost and i forgot fundamentals. Now am playing recreational league and i've won many matches against players that was beating me hard like 1 year ago. Because of work am playing much less now, only matches almost and i couldnt find my form last couple of matches at all. Then i remember this video and i've played best tennis in my life last time i stepped onto pitch because of this "knowledge" of lifting the ball. Am very grateful that someone like you are sharing knowledge for free on youtube with so much passion and dedication. thank you man 👏

The notion your technique reflects your intention is powerful! So much better than trying to change your mechanics when things aren't working. Congratulations! Does this apply to the serve? Do you have a video on it?

I feel so much more confident on the court after I see this trainer's videos! This one on height intention has really helped! But also the one about hitting the lower part of the tennis ball, about deciding right away what hand the ball is going to so you can get moving right away, and how to toss up the ball while imagining you have it on a string, have all been great

When you put more lift on the ball that also puts more topspin on the ball which helps keep the ball in so long as it isn't a scooping shot.

Great video. Two thoughts. 1) It helps me to think about it as a variation of a topspin lob rather than driving stroke, imagining my opponent is at the net (like the second drill in the vid) and I'm hitting to get it over his reach and dipping down behind him, and then adjusting the arc down from there. 2) If your ball is going long, aiming lower, yes, but also or instead a bit more bite on your topspin will help bring the ball in and be even harder for your opponent to handle.

I want to thank the instructor for the really basic instruction but really usefull. No theacher in Italy does that. I would really appreciate if you could make a tutorial on what would be the ideal distance to the ball in reference to different posions on the court and/or what kind of shots I want to play. Thank you.

Ha ha. 10:04 "I stand at the net and ask players to hit over me. That gives them a very clear indication of height and they look for safe margins since they don't want to hit me in the head, unless they feel I talk too much." I think this helped me hit better the last three times out. Having more fun hitting after this tip.

Can you analysd Nadal's topspin. It seems that he find the to hit the ball with a lot of power and spin at the same time. When i try to mimic what he does my ball goes either on the net either too high.
