Hey, Im a little confused. I have a bmpcc4k. I normally record 4k at 60fps. what would happen if i tried to display 60fps with this monitor? and how do i get around it while still keeping it at 60? Thanks

Did you find an answer to you question? I've been hunting all over the web for an answer. I read elsewhere that that the GH5 will automatically downscale it's output so you'll still have a visual to work with but not sure if my Fuji XT4 will do the same.

@@jezplaisance Well, long story short i endend up ordering the monitor anyway. As far as i can tell the monitor just downscales the feed and has no effect on the recorded footage. I've been using it perfectly fine with no issues.

@@hotlinerhythm that’s good to hear. Thanks for responding. Like you, I ordered anyway. I went for the feelworld lut6 for the extra brightness for outdoor use. I managed to figure out how to output at 1080 60fps via hdmi while still writing at 4k60 to the SD so all good 👌

Odd, my F5 Pro bought in 2022 does have waveforms which is the main reason I choose it over the other comparable models.

How did you manage to tilt monitor while attached to the arm. Mine seems to be fixed, I am afraid to force it, it seems it will broke

Not sure if you have a slightly different arm. It should have two little lugs that fit in to holes on the monitor body, it's sort of a friction spring load system.

@@JonathanJScottFilms exactly, but they are totaly fixed in the vertical position and there is no way to rotate them clockwise or in the opposite direction

Hi Jonathan. Does this screen has a build in speaker as well? Because, I'm looking for a field monitor with which I can play back an interview with the client next to me (without handing over the headphone to them). If not, do you have any recommendation for another field monitor that can play audio as well? Or do you have another suggestion how to fix this? :) Thanks in advance!

No it doesn't have a speaker only a 3.5mm headphone jack. You could connect a small speaker to this if you don't want to share headphones I guess....

@@iyushfilms7058 not sure what camera you are using, maybe have a look in the manual or Google it. Lots of cameras allow you to have the feed on both the camera LCD monitor as well as an external one, just like I show in the video (Panasonic GH5).

So i shoot with the bmpcc 6k, am i not able to shoot 6k raw? Like when i bring the footage into the computer would it potentially change my resolution when shooting with this monitor? Or would 6k raw just become disabled in my camera?

The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K has a full-sized HDMI A port, but it is 1080p 10-bit only. No RAW or 4K. So you can of course use an external monitor and record to card or SSD as normal. Hope that helps.

At the time of this review it couldn't, since then feelworld have released a firmware that allows you to load luts onto the unit.

Of course you're powering two devices...it's a trade off. But if you use a high enough capacity battery like the one in the video then you can still get several hours of usage.

It depends on which camera you use. The monitor itself has no lag but different cameras have different lag when sending a signal out over hdmi.

If you mean LUT support, no it doesn't allow you load LUTs. The freeworld F6 plus supports LUTs, review of that on my channel.

The monitor can display a maximum of 1080 60p. But I very much doubt your camera outputs 1080p 120fps over hdmi anyway.

Not sure to be honest. I don't think the Sony a7r3 will output more than 60fps over hdmi, so that might be your limit.

Poor monitors, not worth it. I got feelworld f5 pro and with less than 2 hours use the screen is flickering.
