What input on your laptop do you connect the HDMI output from the LivePro L1? When I plug the LivePro output to the HDMI input on my laptop I don't see anything on the laptop. But the switcher is working ok. I also tried hooking the HDMI Output thru an adapter (HDMI in USB out) and still no picture. What do I need to do or what am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Most laptops do not have a HDMI in. The HDMI port on your laptop is only able to output a signal . In this setup I am demonstrating the HDMI output of the L1 goes to a small external monitor and the laptop is connected via HDMI to output a web page and connected via USB to be able to stream all the feeds through OBS studio

You do not need to be recording on camera to send a feed to the livepro L1, however, most cameras have an auto power off or sleep function if the camera is not recording, so make sure to disable that when livestreaming.

yes, there is no power switch on the unit, as soon as the power supply is on the unit will be on

I cannot get anything to work, all but one of my cameras go blank, I cannot pull up anything on the computer and NO NONE has mentioned anything about what to do if this happens how to get a picture on the monitor screen or especially the computer and of course what to do if any of these things fail. I have been at this for days and my first client comes in the morning... I could really use help...

probably your laptop has only hdmi out; plug a hdmi cable from your laptop to livepro hdmi input 4 and you will feed the livepro with images from the laptop; plug a separate monitor to the livepro hdmi output and you will have image on the monitor; not all cameras works with livepro; canon works for sure; good luck!

Panasonic gh4 and gh5. In theory any camera that can send out a feed over hdmi should work with the livepro L1

Let's say I have all my cameras connected to the Live pro, and I want to record a video and in this video I want to switch between views and show different angles. I know how to use OBS to a certain point. What source do I need to add to OBS to see each display in OBS, Example, Video capture device, seen selection and so on

Thanks for the video. But to have a full honest review you have to mention the static noise in your video which is pretty obvious . And how useless are the in and out audio ports. I used an amplifier with it, still getting very low audio signal. I had the same static noise problem but much worse. It ruined a gig for me. I tried 2 Units with the same problem. Don’t buy rubbish gear. Invest in better equipment. Get atem mini or pay a little extra and get atem mini pro which is an audio mixer by it self, So you save your self money if you want to get both.

For the price point i didn't see a big issue with it. It is a budget device for people wanting to get started in streaming, so yes i'd agree if you are doing professional work you're likely better with a higher end unit and dedicated audio desk.
