Yeah, sadly. Her kit is vanilla, but not bad, and she has busted internals (and I have her at NP2, so she also hits like a truck), but she really need something to make her stand out of the crowd. Personally I would love if DW would do something about her second skill, as a single turn Star Weight buff is just incredibly outdated at this point, and I would really love it they slapped some sustained offensive buff on her, like a 3 turn 20% ATK buff or something. For example, if they changed it to something like "Suppression A" or "Self suggestion A", with the explanation being that Okita uses her willpower to temporarily suppress her illness, adding a 3T 10-20% ATK and DEF buff on top of the star gather, with an NP or HP loss demerit, it would still make her kit waaaaay better.

Stat wise i agree that Waver at level 80 is basically the same as level 90, but without the last ascesion you don't get the NP upgrade, i think it's worth mentioning

I only used Waver as an example to demonstrate my point of how low stat gain is for servants like him with S growth curves. Therefore, anything extraneous like NP interludes have been excluded because that's not what I was trying to talk about.

Fun fact: ...that isn't Okita in that period picture. It's literally someone else. There are no existing pictures of him around. Also, he's been played by women in plays and dramas in Japan due to fitting with what people considered beautiful at the time...mostly because he had Tuberculosis. So here's a question: do servants with a reverse S growth curve benefit more than others from grailing from 90 to 100? I'm not too sure if I should grail okita and heracles or save those grails for other characters.

IIRC Grail levels always have a linear growth curve. So technically, servants with S growth curves benefit more from getting Grailed. But keep in mind that there's no other way for Servants to go past their max levels without Grails, so it's just better to not worry about stats and grail whoever you want; even if you still like grailing for Stats, just grail whoever you find is most useful to you.

I know there's enough to level 100 two characters, so I'm grailing heracles for best bro and will try to roll caster nero for waifu grail, but dunno if I'd have enough to grail Cu to 90, since he's quite useful but not quite as bro as herc.

Not all events have Grails but some do. To put it in perspective JP has had 22-23 Grails available to them throughout the course of the game's lifespan.

i was lucky enough to have a stockpile of Void dust, my problem now is gettin her to ascension lvl 3, those dragon fangs man......need 24 just for lvl 3, im at half of that, on the side i did probably 20 Wyvern farming quests and i got 1 fang.......i pretty much gave up and just focused on farming the event, i know what ill be doin during the Thanksgiving "event" tho lol.....Wyverns for days......could probably end world hunger with the amount of wyverns farmed for fangs....

I am rewatching this video first time after it first got posted, and I had to pause it just to comment how sad this one is because Touhou had to resort referring to Blackbeard in a team comp with her. This video honestly needs to be redone whenever he gets time because Okita is really a goddess in my party. Been playing f2p and her being my first 5*, she really made a huge difference in my gameplay since her arrival. I practically treat her like a berserker when I have to make berserker teams, even against non-lancer classes. Okita is more suitable with archers who can produce their own crit stars *cough* Gil *cough* or with any other servants who have the same QQABB deck or QQQAB deck. She's especially fun to use with assassins because it's just raining crits every turn with them. My dream team would be Okita + Jack + Shuten but since my 5* luck recharges in 6 months, I can just hope for random Jack spook. And when I said berserkers, Okita's presence really helps my Herc to crit because she herself doesn't pull the stars. So in a sense, her low star pull weight serves as a star distribution control. So technically that second skill should be used for making Okita get some stars and leaving the others for the party. 60-70% is normally more than enough for crit proc. Finally, her NP gain is insane if even a single crit procs on the AQQ chain. Nuff said. But sadly, that 0.8x multiplier on quick card does kind of hurts the damage. Not really visible, but when someone takes even a 4* arts NP2 the difference is apparent. The whole decent atk stat gets thrown into the trash bin. DW strengthen my goddess already. If they add just one more utility to any of her skills or NP ffs ;-;

I've been making an effort to look up the pronunciations of the character names in fgo. But I don't have to worry too hard for the Japanese ones as I'm familiar with the language

AlexOJ hmmm, probably towards the end of the Shishou solo banner. Luck tends to come at the beginning and end of banners, probably from everyone pulling on it at the same time. And yeah, I got super lucky at the beginning of the banner with NP2 Shishou. And I pulled for the hell of it on Okita banner and got her to NP2 as well. Guaranteed netted me my NP2 of Tamamo and a new Orion. I am pretty happy with that.

I wasn't able to farm everything in guda guda but I got the most imporatant things everything but the talons, and homunculus. got all the hearts, scales and gears and I need most of the gears for OKita :( oh well she seems to be worth it..Gonna be using your shishou every chance I get!
