I’ve paused at 46:40 because this is the point where Orban has essentially been called “Hitler” and I want to play this for my wife from the beginning. Orban wants Hungary to be populated by Hungarians; and to do that women need incentives to have enough children to maintain population levels. The conversation hinges on both the definition of what a European People’s Party is and by extension what the EU is. I believe that the proper definition is that the EU is supposed to be a modern update of the Holy Roman Empire wherein disparate European races and tribes are united in a grand project of cooperation amongst themselves. For others, “European” simply designates a location on the western edge of Eurasia and anyone can become a European the minute they jump a border fence in Ceuta, Melilla or Greece.

11:50 Well, if by hungarian's enthusiasm towards European projects you mean our politicians love to get their hands on EU funds to appropriate them in mid way between, yes, we are very enthusiastic.
