The Whiteboard! Yes I use it all the time with my students we draw treble clef and bass clefs I use it for music theory with my younger kids we draw rainbows and the feature that is needed is copy and paste that's the only thing that's missing. The annotate feature works really well it just need copy and paste features. Or it would be nice if I could make a drawing of a treble clef or a grand staff and then save that as a template so I can pull it up for other students or a circle of fifths template

I also use zoom to teach music theory. I use an image of a music staff or piano keyboard and paste it into a Paint 3D file. Then we can draw in it like you would the whiteboard.

Thank you for sharing I have zoom basic and use it to teach children but just recently zoom made changes and when i share a photo i cant annotate while my student can and i see my self but can't see y students I don't have the option of gallery view while sharing It's really important for me to see the student not my self and to write r point out things on the shared photo Do you have any idea what is missing in my settings

Two common Zoom issues! *Issue 1: Annotating on shared pictures* You can't annotate on shared pictures because: 1. *Role restriction*: As the meeting host, you might have restricted annotation permissions to only participants (your students). Check your meeting settings. 2. *Sharing mode*: Ensure you're sharing the picture in "Annotation" mode, not "Screen Sharing" or "Presentation" mode. To enable annotation: 1. Start sharing the picture. 2. Click the "More" menu (three dots) in the top-right corner of the share window. 3. Select "Annotate." If you've checked these and still can't annotate, try updating Zoom or contacting Zoom support. *Issue 2: Seeing yourself instead of your student* This is likely due to: 1. *Camera settings*: Ensure your camera is selected and working correctly. 2. *Video settings*: Check that "Mirror my video" is disabled (Settings > Video > Advanced). 3. *Window layout*: Zoom's default layout might prioritize your video. Try: a. Clicking the "View" menu (upper-right corner) and selecting "Gallery View" or "Speaker View." b. Adjusting the window layout by dragging the video windows. To focus on your student's video: 1. Click on their video window. 2. Use the "Pin" icon (three dots) to keep their video prominent. Additional troubleshooting: 1. Update Zoom to the latest version. 2. Check your internet connection. 3. Restart Zoom. If issues persist, consider: 1. Checking Zoom's support resources. 2. Question, in a Zoom webinar, as a host, can you turn off the panelist's video as well as muting them if they are not responding to your ask? I know next to their name, it's something like "Ask to unmute." But if you need to force down their video, can you do that? (Same goes for their audio.) Thanks!

You might be correct but being a teacher I have to write or type the difficult words with its meaning for my students coz they are still kids or while teaching mathematics I must write the formula of the equation for them in order to make it easier for them to solve it faster

@@ashrafhazara3437 I am a teacher as well and use the whiteboard often. You can use the annotate feature to let your students draw or text on the screen while sharing. When you share the whiteboard have them go to the three dots on the top if their screen. There is a dropdown menu with the option "annotate" once selected they should be able to draw on the shared screen

As a teacher, I have to see all of the students in Zoom at all times. This is difficult because I usually have a lot of screens open and toggle from one to another throughout the lesson. I need to have that Brady Bunch style view of my students on a separate monitor and it allows me to use all of the available space on my main computer. I was thinking of getting a super wide curved screen to eliminate the need for two monitors. Thoughts?

Mobile or tablet alone can be tricky. Sound or video won’t be ideal and the battery can die fast too. Try share // screen and play Spotify

One big question for me is if it is possible to share screen and show people how to use zoom the way you are in the video - trying to show freelancers where I live in how to use zoom for their bespoke sessions in theatre and performing arts. Nice tutorial I would turn on the ( Always show meeting control toolbar) in the Zoom browser settings. Second point , you could have one participant on the list of participants in order to see the down arrow when sending a message in chat, the way you explain , only people that knows that feature known what you meant. How do I stop individuals jumping around on the screens? I want all video clips to stay in place no matter who is pinned, or who is spotlighted. If I have 100 people in a meeting, and I want to find someone in a hurry, it's nearly impossible when a person's video jumps from page 1 to page 4, and/or moves around on the same page. Once I see the position of a person, I want to see them in the same spot every time, just like a real in-person meeting. And how do I make sure the video's stop jumping around for all participants?

However, they still cannot hear me cue. What do you suggest without spending a lot of money? I can get the two of us on the screen at the same time side by side but I want everybody watching to see the PowerPoint take up over half the screen on the left and the two hosts seen at the same time as the PowerPoint on the right stacked on top of each other. I have seen it done but nobody in all of KZbin can show me how. There is not ONE single video. Will you please show me?

@@allendiaz1602 hi! That’s strange. Try share screen, share PowerPoint. Then make sure you have “gallery view” turned on so both of you will show on the screen stacked on the right. If you choose presenter view then only one of you will be on screen.

I would like to know how to see everyone on one screen while hosting a zoom meeting. Zoom only shows six people on the screen and I have to click on the arrow to see more people, but I want to see them all on one screen. Thank you!
