Yeah. Though, I do feel like March 7th - Hunt does slot in fairly well as a Dr Ratio replacement in a number of places. In the context of the Robin + Topaz + Aventurine team, replace Dr Ratio with March 7th Hunt and that team performs nearly as well.

Gentle reminder that as time goes on, more and more players are not going to have a Dr Ratio, having missed that event by either joining or coming back too late. As one of those folks, I'm probably trying to go Kafka-Black Swan because I don't even have a start of a Follow Up Attack core. If I'm lucky and have extra pulls I'll try and secure Robin.

In my opinion it’s still better to go Kafka robin if you’re gonna wish for two characters, robin will save you in later content with her team wide advance, black swan is amazing but can be replaced with any dot easily compared to robin’s value, and also I don’t think he clarified this enough but robin is not strictly a fua support, she’s the best fua support but her team wide advance along with an atk boost and dmg boost make her good for any team besides break. She is even better in dot teams because her extra turn allows dot to stack more and the dmg and atk buff buffs dot more than any other support, I recommend getting robin and waiting for a dps or getting robin and Kafka and using Sampo or guen for dot sub dps instead of black swan. Robin just works better especially if you want to try other team types in the future. And you can also replace dr ratio with march 7th and topaz for moze, making a basically more f2p fua team as moze is budget topaz and march 7th is budget ratio. And new players can easily clear content outside of high level end game with the free 4 stars from stuff like xueyi from apoctoliptic shadow, get harmony mc and that’s already a break team, adding asta and lynx and that’s a f2p break team that can clear hard levels. There’s plenty of core characters, meta 5 stars like robin just elevate the experience of playing the game.

Robin isn't really only for Follow-up team tho. She literally is good in every team archetype other than break so you can't go wrong even if you don't have Topaz Ratio etc. Even so, Hunt March is definitely something that's good enough.

Yeah I gotta third the other two opinions, if you have the jades to pull for literally any of them and you don't already have Robin, pull her. She's such a strong support, good in every mode and works in such a wide variety of teams. People are literally saying she's contesting ruan mei for best support, putting her at least in the top 5 pull value units in the game. Strongly recommend going for her before all else.

The only two units you need as a newbie as of 2.5 is robin and ruanmei, ruanmei works really well be htb and is bis with dot and can be used everywhere. Robin is also amazing having amazing buffing but working especially good with fua chars, after the release of 4 fua chars I would say robin is slightly better in moc, honestly it just depends on the current buffs and also what chars are released.

The second phase being Lingsha and Topaz basically comes down to which playstyle you prioritize.. FUA or Break. I wanted Lingsha but she has her downsides and I've been wanting Topaz for a while now. Since I'm pulling for Feixiao, Topaz will be my next priority. I already have Robin, Black Swan and Kafka.... so good luck o7.

Lingsha is much more skill point hungry than Gallagher, although her healing is much more reliable and her cleanse doesn’t cost any skill point generally. Lingsha I think would be much better for AoE breaking scenario while Gallagher e6 mainly a bit better than Lingsha in single target so it’s really up to you whether if you want to upgrade your AoE capability on breaking and damaging

Even then these extra reruns are just getting characters out of 2nd rerun hell instead of "making it faster" (although making them go from "could appear" to "will never appear again" is faster I guess) And sure, I know in the long run I’ll get all of them, especially if this banner does well. It’s just a shame that I have to make such a pivotal choice instead of the plan I had before this stream.

Yanqing/Himeko(Let's ignore those two for now), So I definitely need to think about which banner/Character I should prioritize if I want a decent team to get me somewhere. Robin and Feixiao are gonna be mine. I have 250 pulls currently stocked, lost my last 50/50 so have a guarantee, and I'm currently at 10 pity. I will 100% get Feixiao and Robin (I have enough to guarantee that even at absolute HARD PITY). We will see what I end up deciding to do regarding Lightcones, but I think I will probably try for those as well, unless I truly get rekt by the banners. Then TopAss on the 2nd Half, prepared to spend a bit if necessary. Will think about Lingsha when that comes around after I secure Topaz + Robin + Feixiao, depending on how well all the other banners treat me. How can you say there is no dedicated dot support? Ruan Mei literally helps break faster. And whar does happen when dot characters break enemies? They add break dot, whixh are stronger with Ruan Mei's break buff. And those dots can be used by Kafka, luka or guinaifen to retrigger. + She gives dmg bonus, which helps dot too. And she helps enemies to stay longer broken. That also helps all yhe damage. Moreover, if you have her eidolons, which give a big buff to dot when enemies are broken And she gives speed by default which is appreciated by all dot. And she can freeze if breaks, that also helps dot comps

I already have Robin and Kafka so I’ll be pulling for both Feixiao (For Wind DPS) and Black Swan (To pair with Kafka and E0S1 Acheron). I’m partly confident because I’m currently sitting at 70+ pity and when the banner comes around I’ll have about 70-80 pulls (only pulled twice on Houhou because I initially wanted her but then realized I’m only missing her and louche for sustain). I just started playing last week and I pulled Kafka on my second bundle try. Now I'm just hoarding my tickets because I don't know the game very well. I just defeated that robot guy in the main story headed back up to the overworld. So I'm not sure if I should save for future pulls or not because I'm still learning the mechanics. I just leveled up Kafka and everyone else to level 40 and been brute forcing my way through.

if you don't have Robin, pull for Robin. Supports are forever, DPS are temporary. DPS units ALWAYS get powercrept, but support units hold their value for a LONG time. Bronya is a standard character that's been in the game since release, and she's still viable in a lot of teams. Meanwhile most of the DPS units released early on in the game can't keep up with newer ones.

Bro I have acheron but I really love fexiao and her gameplay , I have enough pulls for both fexiao and robin but to utilize fully fexiao do I go for her lightcone instead of robin

Supports are generally better than a light cone, for you it come down to whether you hve a support that isn’t completely behind robin or not, let’s say u have a suitable replacement for robin go light cone, if not, go robin

I main Acheron (jiaqio/BS/pela + healer) and Boothill (RM, HMC/Bronya + healer). At first, i wanted to get kafka so i could use 2 dot team for game content like PF, but i also want to maximize the FUA team by adding robin. Fow now, j have no trouble finishing the current game content, but i want to explore other team too (i had Topaz n Dr. ratio, to pair with robin and Plan to get adventurine). Now, idk who should i pull. I'm afraid if i didn't pull kafka now, who knows when her banner will get a 3rd rerun. But i also want to get robin to experiment with FUA team.

I have some question been trying to build a Luka team (dot team ) I have huohuo also. So my plan is to pull for Kafka and then if I'm lucky enough pull for Robin for my yunli team. Is this a good plan?

There's always the typical blud who says "bro but get them both or nothing", 🤓🤓🤓🤓 they never bother to explain which of the 2 is the CORE that makes DOTS work well (Kafka activating Dots). *And even if another Dots comes out* that activates and does more damage than Kafka, it would be better (2 Kafka = Win), it would solve the problem that Dots has today! And if another one comes out that advances action, that heals or other that *applies decently like Black Swan (Tyngiun nihility?)* that would be fabulous. *(Ik BS will still BIS)* *Dots still has incredible potential..* the game followed the pattern of improving different mechanics (Superbreak, Fuas, Nihilities), with each one already having its PEAK, Acheron, Feixiao, Jade (let's ignore Firefly's no crit, Hi Rappa?) etc, while *Dots will have the potential to break the meta again* (which currently remains)
