I remember my mother, and I listened to Fela on the radio. It was magical because the lyrics of the song torched on social, cultural, and political issues of the day that we could relate to.

Fela started killing me with his songs since when I was a child in the late 70s, He is such a strong personality that you can hardly find in Africa. Rest in peace baba ooo!!!
