One of the best danceable rhythm of Fela's tunes. I love this tune. Evergreen

This music production is the soul and spirit of Fela's total music work, Afro Jazz Beat. The only production without vocals. Fela's Unsung Song. A masterpiece. I love it real good.

This is the song to which the end credits to highlife should be shown. This is the crown jewel ; the summary swan song of the Nigerian highlife scene. I think this is a tribute to the highlife legacy that fela was once a participant enroute his morphing of African rhythmic syncopation and western and funk & Jazz elements. A masterpiece!

Indeed a masterpiece! I actually used to sneak a tape containing this tune from my elder brother's well-guarded collection in the 1980s. Although without vocals, the characteristically aggressive horn arrangement filled in most perfectly. Another fitting tribute to the musical genius of the late maestro...

Dope ass song man! I apparently had the Fela song "Stalemate" downloaded to my phone, didn't realize it. That song came on and at first I thought it Palm Wine. I shortly thereafter realized it was not so I discovered Stalemate yesterday!

I can listen to this instrumental music for a whole day. It remains evergreen. I remember years back when my dad used to play the record while I was in primary school over four decades ago.
