Felabration 2010 w/Ikebe Shakedown @ The Knitting Factory, Brooklyn

Ikebe Shakedown returns to The Knitting Factory for another Felabration, celebrating the life and times of Fela Kuti.
Special guests included Jojo Kuo (Fela's drummer), Amayo (lead singer of Antibalas), Bajah and the Dry Eye Crew (from Sierra Leone) and dancers/singers from FELA! on Broadway. MC for the night was actor/singer Malik Yoba (Arrested Development, Cool Runnings).
Joining Ikebe Shakedown for the Fela set was Raja Kassis (guitar), Mike Buckley (bari sax) and Kevin Raczka (shekere/sticks). Big thanks to everyone involved, including Vanessa from Knitting Factory Records and anyone we forgot.
