Musicalmente, "Cobblestones" è un anthem che vuole essere il biglietto da visita della band.
Una cavalcata continua e senza sosta, intervallata soltanto da break-down ipermoderni mentre il coro - - che si ripete incessantemente - ci strilla in faccia ‘Rome oh Rome’. Liricamente, la canzone descrive Roma e la sua natura duale.
