Dr. Melinda Sabo delves into the fascinating and often unreliable nature of human memory. Through personal anecdotes and research studies, she illustrates how our memories can be distorted or even fabricated over time. Dr. Sabo challenges us to reconsider the accuracy of our recollections and understand that forgetting is a natural and necessary process. As a cognitive neuroscience researcher, she explores the complex relationship between human memory and concentration. Her work uses a wide range of methods, from behavioural analysis to modern brain imaging and automated learning techniques. She has presented her work at several prestigious conferences in Europe, the United States and Canada. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
