I always love when a recent generation pays homage to our predecessors. To the men and women who earned the the title of “Foundation Layers” ❤️❤️

Lisssen, this is another classic Fellowship moment. I was in the choir stand that day in awe of Felicia's rendition of our choir soloists who's membership spanned over some 40, 50 and now even 60 years. Grandma Mary Davis-Stinson has been singing "He's My Everything" since 1958 taught to the choir by the late Rev. Milton Brunson when he was a musician at the ship #ClassicShipMoments 😭❤💯⚓

There’s something about black gospel singing that taps into a totally different atmosphere!!!! ❤❤❤ nothing wrong with other gospel because we’re all singing praises to the same God. I think black gospel just hits different because of the turmoil, the journey and being beat down and scrutinized through the centuries for something that was completely out of our control

It was so much fun growing up in the ship I have some great memories of this church, I got to see so many great gospel singers and choirs and of course civil rights leaders of the past come through fellowship Baptist church , I also was close friends with Mrs Felicia Coleman, and Mary was like one of my aunt's she was my aunt's friend so she was over a lot growing in a church where the preacher could preach the word of God was truly church 💯💯💯🙏🙏🙏🙏

Among many things, I enjoy how the Fellowship family honors and remembers Pastor Evans, ministers, and the early members are not forgotten. It is a blessing to see the choir sing with conviction the older and anointed songs and hymns. Beautiful. Keep uploading, and thank you.

It’s a old hymn of the church called “Yield Not To Temptation” it’s on Lou Dellas latest album also
@ricobradford74573 жыл бұрын
It’s a copy of the woman singing it that song on one of Rev. Clay Evans birthday tribute done by Fellowship last year. The one Ms. Felicia was honoring. The one on the album and some other videos is Dr. Carolyn Walker from what I see
