And the best part is that I didn't even have to pay the $100 application fee because my credit card covered that! (Capital One Venture)🤗 It also comes with TSA Pre-Check! ✅

For inter-american flights, do you suggest a US passport or the qualified driver's license?

Even if you have to pay the fee, you skip just one nasty CBP line at JFK or Miami and it's worth it! The Pre-Check ✅ is just the icing on the cake!

I used Global Entry last fall flying from Munich to San Francisco. It was the easiest thing ever. There were only two people ahead of me and I got through passport control really fast.

I got one originally to get tsa pre check in the US. We went to Canada and it certainly paid for itself. We skip about a two mile line of cars coming back into the US. I haven't tried it yet with US customs at an US airport. It didn't work with cruise debarkation, but that was short anyway. The conditional approval process seems to vary. Mine took one business day. My wife took 2 months. We applied on the same day.

Global Entry is best for someone like Feli who will be doing international travel several times a year for the foreseeable future. CLT airport is also likely a good airport to transit through as has far less amounts of international traffic unlike JFK, EWR, ORD.

I'm surprised Charlotte airport has GE for as few international flights it receives. I haven't seen GE in Boston but I'm sure they have it. Arriving in BOS from abroad you have to go through a similar process just for immigration purposes. It scans your face and your passport to give you a receipt. It's supposed to give you priority somehow if you have a connecting flight but I never saw any benefit from it. Now I have TSA precheck and hope that it will save me time to make my connection to PIT or CLE, but I won't hold my breath.

American airlines exclusively serves Germany from Charlotte, so that's already two flights with about 300 passengers a day.

The reasons is because smaller airports may not have immigration and customs so that’s why you had to get your baggage then recheck it.
@slayerx681
@slayerx681 6 күн бұрын
I'm pretty sure it's every airport. The only exception being if you do pre-clearance at the departing airport, like Dublin to O'Hare, where your bag is checked by us customs before it gets on the plane. I took a flight from Amsterdam to Atlanta though, and had to take my bag and go through the scanner again before my flight from atlanta to detroit.

Usually you just answer the questions on the kiosk and it gives you a printed receipt to give to the immigration officer and they can ask questions, but it’s never happened to me.

Canadian airports have preclearance, so your flight lands in the US as domestic Flights that haven't been precleared do require you to pickup luggage and recheck them

Such a weird thing to seem upset about
@jimhalpert9421

@@jtom2958 Of course I am upset about it. Becasue it forces me to choose between: 1. Use the "service", which means even less money in my pockets and more money for the top 1% or 2. Don't use the service and suffer through the intentionally long waiting experience, just becasue the top 1% wanted to make more money. In contrast, look at what happens in places where this kind of limitless money hunger is a bit reigned in: In Europe, the max. wait time I ever experiecend at an airport was 15 minutes, both for security and immigration check. The average time is even much lower. And this is without any "premium" line-skipping passes which just don't exist in Europe.

If I was a teenager with a limited attention span, then I might like this 'Short' format. But, then again I would probably turn to Tic Tok NOT KZbin. However, since I am an adult with a Normal attention span I tend to avoid Tic Tok. I also can't imagine why KZbin feels that they MUST compete with a Chinese company which is heavily restricted in it's own country and convince it's creators to gear down their content just to attract young teens, You are better than that, well, at least I thought that you were!!!
