This song "Moving Closer" was one of my favorite during the RNB Era in 2008 . this was originally sung by the band named "Never The Stranger", an all Filipino ,Moving Closer became so famous that it was literally sang for CLOSE UP toothpaste Commercial..👍👏👏😎🥰😘💞💕

I've seen other reactors compare him to Machine Gun Kelly, but i think Felip is much better than MGK, in swag, in rizz, in dancing, and charm. When he sings, if you carefully listen, even in harmonizing, his deep voice is reverberating, especially so in live performances. 4:33 i think this is a soft rock/rock ballad.

No way!!! What’s there to compare?? MGK can’t even come close to 90% of Felip’s skills and talents. The man sings, dances, raps…etc. Felip is on another level. Plus his songs are way better than MGK. MGK got some good freestyles here and there but his songs ain’t it.

So he would try to find excuses not to attend family reunions and escape to somewhere else. Felip's grandpa was a pastor of a born-again Christian church and it was in church that Felip honed his musicality. His dad is also a pastor of the same Christian group/denomination. His grandparents cared for him and his only other sibling, an older sister, from when Felip was yet a pre-schooler until the time he auditioned and successfully joined SB19 because his mom and dad had been living in Malaysia that entire time to work in Christian ministry. His parents have already returned to the Philippines for good since last year. As per his dad's words, his mom and dad's sacrifice of being apart from Felip and his sister had been necessary to give them a better life. Felip's uncles played different instruments in church and that's where he learned to play the piano and guitar. Though Felip focused on mastering dance during his teenage years, he was exposed to music and singing first when he was little. He majored in architecture when he was at university which is not really surprising given his aptitude for math and that he already gravitated towards the fine arts when he was younger. He does excel in drawing. He was the cartoonist of his high school paper. Notably, he won awards as a cartoonist of his high school during inter-school contests. Moreover, the reason why a lot of A'tin and all Sisiws admire him so much is that he does not only sing in various genres, rap, dance, compose songs, design apparel (in his solo-owned company, no less), occasionally engage in producing and creatively directing his own music, and dabble in art, but he is also athletic and plays so well in various sports. In school, he had been a varsity player in Sepak Takraw, an Asian group sport played with nets similar to volleyball except that the net's height is lower, the ball is made of woven rattan, and touching or striking the ball using the head, forehead, arms (hands not allowed), knees and feet are allowed. All of the above plus his religious upbringing would already qualify him as a role model to the youth, but what makes him even more remarkable is that despite his growing fame, he remains an introvert, prefers to stay at home when he doesn't have any shows and engagements, doesn't drink alcoholic beverages, and doesn't party.
