He's also incredible, contests these days just aren't made for him. They're made for rail chompers and giant launches. Rarely is anything as small as Tampa, which allows us to see some truly gnarly tech. There is stuff done at Tampa every year that will never be done at sls cause the rails are too big. For example, we're never gonna see a fakie flip fakie tweaked bs 5-0/switch bs overcrook down any handrails in sls.

He is such a great person with such a great parents and upbringing. Brazilian skateboarders really got on top with amazing life stories, there should be a book about each one of them. No wonder why skateboarding is huge there, these things are very motivating and inspiring. After this interview I'm aware that he is far better person than skateboarder... and he is among the best ones for sure.

49:46 I suddenly feel so fortunate. But I was a freshman. There was a field across the street from this condo we rented and it was just vacant the whole time. We live there except for one single lane 200 ft length of pavement. Black tops super smooth going out into the middle of the field and nobody cared if we put a ramp out there. Nobody ever stole around. Nobody ever came in. Ran it over with their semi truck. No one ever threw it in the ditch. Broke it with a hammer. It was so cool.

Wow. Inspiring. I had the privilege to see all the SLS rippers in Sydney as I flew down from Brissy for the day and then I got to see the Redbull team also. Even got to congratulate Felipe in Brissy which was awesome. Loved every minute of this podcast. Cheers Kelly. Chris and Jeron. I also remember that 1999 Fs Nosegrind by Chris and watching the Hot chocolate video tape tour again and again back in early 2000s lol. The good ol days. Loved the fire scene on the obstacles. That was just amazing haha. Especially MJ almost getting burnt from behind and on the steep bank lol hahaha. Love the OG crailtap crew...
