I am reading the good Comments to which i totally agree. A few mention the origin of this great song. So please don't forget this was written by two very talented songwriters of the group New Radicals and aired first in December 1998. The original, which is fantastic, should be honored. Those who like this song should check out Some Day We'll Know by the New Radicals as an example of this duo's songwriting ability. Killer melody and evocative lyrics.

People are prob hating cuz the love the original made in 1999 by New Radicals ( Incase you didn’t know) I myself FUCKING LOVE the original. I gave this one a listen and tbh don’t really care for it. but still it’s no reason to hate on this version, it’s obviously made for a different audience. I think a lot of the people who prefer this song to the original don't understand why the original is so great. It just has an attitude of optimism and passion that is not only present in the vocals, but almost predominantly in the instrumentation. What surprises me about this song is that a lot of EDM loves bass, and yet they wrote a bass line that absolutely pales in comparison to the original's. I get this is more chill, but I don't feel the music in me, or this song when I hear it
