That you can speak fluently or studied English language at first degree level, doesn't make you a PR practitioner. You must learn the trade to be able to practice it. The guest who is said to have made threats to Peter Obi in a media interview is now explaining what he said and there is no way for any reason he could have made threats against him. When you accuse someone of saying something he did not say and the party denied it public, how the individual claiming to be threatened continue to look at the comment made is up to him. If politics was played in the country without malice and biasness why should comments made an individual and not to the political party matters to anyone? There was no damage in this case and there is no evidence of threat presented by the accuser therefore the matter is subject top individual interpretation. A person that makes a statement is the only one who can explain what he meant, therefore no apology is necessary for misinterpretation. This morning it was in the newspaper in Nigeria that Peter Obi was arrested and he came out openly to say that was false. There is no doubt that his supporter spread the fake news to either justify the alleged threat or create sympathy for Peter Obi. However,.it was dignified for him to come out openly to deny the so called arrest. My advice to all anchors or program producers in the Nigeria television is that they should watch how they frame the questions that ask their guests to avoid implicative answers. It is obvious that in the case of this guest during the interview with Arise News the anchor did not probe further to know what Mr. Morka meant with the statement" crossing the line....." That is what a good interviewer will do. The crossfire threats that this matter has generated between political party leaders and supporter are unnecessary and it sure immaturity in politics.

If I were APC, I will not be responding to whatever Peter Obi and Atiku say. Their utterances are influenced by the rude shocks they received from their defeat in the 2023 presidential election. Let petrol go to ₦100 per litre and Naira exchange be ₦1 to S1, they will still find a reason to say negative things about the government. They will still assuming that if they are in government, petro would have been given to the citizens free and that ₦1 to S1000. So you should not expect any positive compliments from them.
