I would keep the good players we have and see if Maresca stays. If he finishes 8th he will be gone in May. Then we will have to buy a number 10, and still have no CF and who knows what the system is. I think we should not buy for a specific system. Because the manager and system changes. It’s the job of the manager to use players we have. The main long term problem is having no CF. In my opinion we don't need to sign another goalkeeper - just call Petrovic back from loan. If Maresca isn't totally happy with Nkuku (or the player wants out) then ok....but only if say Osihmen comes to us. Felix? IF Palmer gets injured we're going to look silly. Garnacho was Man Utd's best player last season, really impressive. The only logic here is IF we think Mudryk is going to be out for a prolonged period.... but not sure how Sancho would feel about that - unless he's surprisingly going back to his parent club after all?

Honestly Felix, is an elite player and I don't want him to leave Chelsea right now. However, if I was Felix, I would definitely fixate my mind on improving in any areas that am weak. because he has been at top clubs all his career but has never really cemented his self in any team. I have to agree he is no Conte who actually used the players and created a system to use them. He made Alonso and Moses (good players) into top class players, Maresco can't seem to do that. Sadly I have to say Poch was better than him and I was not a keen supporter. One example why was Sancho on the bench, when he came on he was a nightmare for Wolves. he was the right type of player to play their style and weirdly as a team we played better in the second half!!

We have a system, we have a style of plat and we have scored a lot of goals, defensively we have been suspect, that's the players at his disposal not the system at play. We need a new gk, a strong leader either in defense or midfield and a clinical striker and we will be challenging. We are forth, we had a run of bad games. You don't look at man city and say peps got to go because they had a very bad period where they couldn't win a game. This is his first season, the teams good and wilk get better.
