Living over in South Wales Felixstowe was always that far off container terminal I have always tried to dodge. As I never got to go here very often I didn't really understand how it worked properly. It was massive, and confusing, and no one ever seemed to be around when I had an issue. So everything seemed to be a massive arse ache.
But once you actually start working here regularly, and the pieces of the mental jigsaw start falling into place, it quickly becomes familiar, and easy to work with.
Today I'm on a mission. I have a 4am start. First I have to offload my empty on 8/9 Berth, then I have to go over to Trinity terminal to load.
THEN I have to drive to Doncaster in South Yorkshire to tip for a 12 mid day booking.
THEN I have to drive back to Felixstowe and do it all over again before shift end.
Lets see how we get on shall we?
As its a fair chunk of video to sow together I will break it down over 3 or more videos. To make it easier to digest.
I hope you will stay tuned.
