He was a really nice bloke with a lovely family....he really knew his Terriers.....I had a bitch from out of his famous Mick....she was a brilliant dog.. It was a shock to see Barry again in the video...but it bought back memories of a really nice man....

I met John Cowan back in the late 1970s I also had a few pups from him when he visited David Jones, the Huntsman for the Lord David Davies Foxhounds, I travelled up from Merthyr, David was also a Merthyr Man himself.

Nice video man i love these documentaries..they go so deep into the intricacies of dogs.. I can never bring myself to pick my jack up by his tail..i feel like its not strong enough? Hes a mix so his tail was not cropped

Absolutely love these videos. We have our Russell Terriers but can't say as theyre hunting type. But we have a bitch that has American lines that I'd put up against most. One day I'd like to visit the Fell & Moreland Club and speak with real Terriermen.
