Great video. Just love that mongrel terrier! He was a man that was a true naturalist that accepted each species as they are. The stoat on his shoulder is epic! And he has a pointer next to him as he is raising a young muntjac in one photo. 11:29-12:06

Though he did turn into a bit of an anti, against terrier work. Maybe something to do with TV fame and the MSM anti hunting stance

Very knowledgeable man , I enjoyed reading about 5 of his books, which I sadly got rid of . Badgers At My Window was one of my favourites 😍

I met David Brian plummer in approximately 1998.i live in Southport, Merseyside. I bred my bullmastif bitch "Jessy" .to a crufts champion stud.she had 9 puppies, 6 survived the cesarean section birth,I advertised the puppies for sale in exchange and mart. Brian plummer contacted me and came to view the puppies. He was so impressed with the pups and the mother, he bought 2 pups. Brother and sister. He paid me the full asking price of £600 per pup.He was a very knowledgeable and impressive man and I was very impressed with the way he lived his life.

Come on mate, Plummer was a fraud, that's common knowledge among true hunting men.

This is in no way a criticism of Phil or anyone else, more an observation. I thought chocolate was poisonous to dogs, unless it's their own variety, and I wouldn't expect Phil to eat that !
@lanyard22029 күн бұрын
Know what you mean. He does refer to this in the film. Having read his books it was an occasional treat for the dog. A lifetime as a first rate stockman as PD was I'd say he probably knew what he was doing 👍
