@eriknelson65292 жыл бұрын
@@DanielBoonesloggingvideos Hello Daniel. Yes still cutting high grade hardwood and pine. Obviously not quite as big as there. Takes 200 years to grow a 4 to 5 ft through tree here and there only 80 to 100 ft Max. My timberjack is excellent. I Love my Clark's too. Staples in the northeast. Hope your well.

Thank you ! Great old video. I remember the old Rayonier building on the Hood canal shoreline on highway 101 between Hoodsport and Potlatch close to the Grove and Skipper John's shrimp stand best tasting shrimp he owned the shrimp boat the Sea Parrot which was docked at the old Hoodsport Marina between the Old Mill Tavern and the Aquarium in Hoodsport Wn. In the 1950's and 1960's. Also remember Rayoniers logging railroad in Sekiu Wn. Those were the good old days !

What a tutorial. Back in college we had a cruiser who worked for Stimson, needless to say we had to watch damn near every safety video of this era! Negligence is not an excuse.

Really cool video from way back. Notice that the limbs hung up in the tree were Not called “widow makers”.?? I’m guessing these were the men killed giving these limbs their name.

The saw must weigh 100 lbs. Can't imagine just lugging it up the hill. I'm a Mason and lift heavy stone but I don't carry them through brush and over fallen trees.
@DanielBoonesloggingvideos Жыл бұрын
Yeah guys back then really had it rough with that big heavy equipment packing through the brush. I’ve seen you guys at work doing the masonry thing and that is tough backbreaking laborous stuff, my hat is off to you.
