'Fellow Travelers' Emmy FYC event: Red carpet interviews with Matt Bomer, Allison Williams and more

On Saturday, June 1 Paramount celebrated the Showtime limited series "Fellow Travelers" with a special Emmy FYC screening, panel discussion and reception at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. Gold Derby senior editor Denton Davidson was on the red carpet to chat with stars Matt Bomer, Allison Williams, Jelani Alladin and Noah J. Ricketts, as well as the series creator and showrunner Ron Nyswaner and executive producer/director Daniel Minahan.

Fellow Travelers is such a wonderful piece. The historical, the plots, the characters, the passion, the aesthetic... everything is on point. All the actors are great and Bomer is phenomenal, in less than a second he can convey lust, anger, fear and sorrow so organically to the story. Big respect for anybody involved in that project. I didn't even mention the costumes and soundtrack. This is a Prestigious piece and a gem for LGBTQA community. Big milestone here!

It would be really amazing to see Noah and Jonny on stage together... And nobody ever said "she will do" about Allison Williams. Rather, "can we have that insanely talented and beautiful Allison to do this part".... It was great to hear BTS stories from Dan Minahan, I bet he has a lot more stories to tell...

Matt is such a talented actor and handsome man. Unfortunately, the gray beard does nothing for his looks. And he seemed short of breath--maybe anxiety. Hopefully, he's not a smoker.
