There was bits of paper all over my office for a couple days, even after I cleaned most of it up. It's not nearly as messy when you don't throw paper shredding everywhere like I did.

Will it do cardboard?

yes350yes yes. Totally does cardblard. Just u have to press button sometimes to tell machine to pull it thru.. it wont roll automaticly if thick for finger safety alert reasons its designed to stop if it tbinks anything thick enuff tl be a finger is withoin mouth feed range coming close to rollers inside but it handles cardboard just fine. Its addicting actually to push this thing to thr limits as ive done with mine and its still kickin strong its actually quite fun to shred cardboard Lol just be kind to feed it machine oil.

No personal office grade shedder is designed to do cardboard. You'll dull the blades. This comes from the folks at Fellowes.

I was much more careful with the testing before the video was shot. By time I tried on video, I was very sure that it would stop when I touched it and that my fingers would not fit.
