It took a few trials but here's a (gasp) Blue Bottle Dripper recipe that really drew out the cherry and raspberry acidity: 205° water, 20 grams coffee, 300 grams water. 50 gram bloom 40 s 70 grams to 120 4 more pours of 45 grams to 300 Grind at 6 on stock Ode, allow water to drain through bed between all pours. Brew time 3:15-3:30

EG-1 and Monolith off the left, and yet you use the ode for the pour over 😁. If the Macarena from last week hadn’t showed up yesterday, I’d really be tempted to go for this one. (Macarena is delicious btw!)

Would be cool next time to also have a section where you use those titan grinders 🤣

Any darker coffees on the horizon?

Do you change your pour-over recipe when using the Shimmy to sift out the fines? (By consistently using the Shimmy I usually end up with ~20g of coffee at 200μm from a 12oz bag, which is perfect for a single Prismo Americano brew)

I typically make a 450g cup with a Kalita Wave 185. Will the same ratio (1:16) work or should I modify that?

You can maintain ratio but you may have to coarsen your grind size to get the same drawdown! Thanks, Brian
