Gone but never forgotten. Dorothy is gone now. She is truly missed and loved. She sang that. Nothing like the oldies but goodies.

She sang this at my grandmother's home going service in 2009. Rev. Evans was able to do her eulogy. My grandmother, Lillie McShane served at the Ship in many offices for over 50 years. I thank God for these beautiful memories shaped by beautiful people.

Why don’t we have church like this no mo????
@kthmrr47502 жыл бұрын
Cause so many worldly people are in the church and the bible is just a book to read but not to live by anymore. The spirit ,order of service,prayers that have meaning, legit pastors,deacons ,mother boards are just there. Women want to be a deaconess,(a man) and pastor wife's wants to be first lady. Etc is so ridiculous

These services were where "IT"(God) was at. I'm thankful for having been there during this era of Fellowship M. B. Church. The evidence of the holy spirit dwelling in our services is evident in each and every one of these now vintage tapes of 'The Ship'!! #GLORY🙌💯😭⚓❤

It’s a shame this is no longer considered great singing and great worship anymore. While listening to this i couldn’t help but think of the recent charismatic noise that church folk sing too much about dying. We don’t sing about dying. Dying is something that happens in a moment. We sing about the life after the moment of death. Not one word in this song speaks about death. This is about living and seeing Jesus. After all, being saved is ultimately about see Jesus. Seeing him when my work is done is why i got saved in the first place.
