This song is so reminiscent of Sunday evening services at St. James MBC in the early 1980's with the late great Pastor Charles Nicks, Jr. How spiritually uplifting this song would be for us. Then being at First Church in Chicago where this was recorded and seeing the choir overflowing in the huge choir stand was a sight one never forgets Thanks for posting this blessed memory of great fellowship between great churches. To see Pastor Nicks and JD reminds me so much of our days on Mt. Elliot and Pulford. As a young person growing up in St. James I have learned how to be grateful for so many blessings. This church has shaped me in so many ways, and I hope that my ministry is a proud testament to those who sowed so much into me and helped make me into the man that I am now.
