This weekend I'm going to clock 700km to my Rocklite 275 and I can just echo what the video said. Almost no wear on the thread and the upper is impeccable. There are two points where you could spot some wear on the shoes. On the outer sides of both shoes where the bending points are located in between the two exoskeleton things. No holes or any important damage just if it was brushed against something. Very good grip/quality/look 👍

I’m new to running - but old to living 😝 700km seems fantastic. I’ve just passed 660km on a pair of Asics and the treads look completely worn out. They are a street shoe and now I’m looking for a trail runner. Thanks for the video, I’ve watched a few now and yours seems to be the most insightful.

interested in what you mentioned about shoe goo. so you just rub a bit into the mesh where the hole is starting to form and it stops that getting worse too quickly?
@fellrunningguide Жыл бұрын
Hi Harvey. Yes you could do that. With these I cut a small fabric patch to cover the area to reinforce it then glued it down with Shoe Goo.

Hi! Thanks for your review. I have Salomon Sense Ride and I'd like to try Inov Roclite 275. My only doubt regarding the insole, quite thin (8 mm.) how does It feels slow running on the white roads and little rocks? Enough cushioning? Thanks a lot 😄
@fellrunningguide2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yes you do feel rocks etc underfoot on harder surfaces. However I used them on dry, rocky trails in Corsica no problem. If you are mainly running on white roads you might want something with more cushioning.

The sole on mine faired a lot worse after less than 80 miles - close to 2mm gone on outer lugs. I don't quite understand how you managed to keep the sole like new.
@fellrunningguide3 жыл бұрын
I think a lot depends on what surface you run on and also bodyweight. I'm a bit of a lightweight which probably helps.

@@fellrunningguide 30% on rocks and paved surface, the rest is on trails which is at times muddy - and I'm 160 lbs. Really nothing out of extraordinary

Have you compared them with the 290? I have a non-graphene pair of 275s and the uppers have frayed at the flex point where you pointed out.. although, mine have done 850 miles (so far)... good tip with the shoe goo!
@fellrunningguide3 жыл бұрын
I've had a few other pairs of Rocljtes in various weights, all non graphene. The uppers always failed before the sole but all lasted well over 600 miles.

How have your shoes not torn across the toe box? Mine are about 300km in and have gone across the toe box (2nd pair, love the shoes otherwise so bought again)
@fellrunningguide3 жыл бұрын
Not sure why some rip whilst others don't. It's annoying when the uppers fail when they still have lots of tread left.
