Hardesty is 15min from where I live. I love that hike mostly for the work out, I've never been up there on a clear day, but I've heard there is a view at the top 😅 In that same area you should do Eagles Rest and Mount June. Eagles Rest isn't that long but you can combine it with Mt June or other summits in the area.

We spent 4 nights in Medford last week. Californians who have never been to NoCal or even Oregon. We couldn't believe how much snow there was still on Mt. McLoughlin. We couldn't go to Crater Lake because it was still closed because of snow. We drove to Lake of the Woods and that lake was still frozen. Beautiful country I must say. We are looking for a place to retire and this is now 1 of 3 choices. Thanks for the video.
