Even though I've knit a few pairs already, I really like to see how you do it! This has been my first knit along and I've really enjoyed it. I'm anxious to see the next video. Their are SO many different thoughts on felting!

Thank you for making these videos! I think you have the wrong timestamps in the description.

Hi Jana, thank you so much for your excellent instructions. I am just wondering if the bumper has any benefits or is it strictly for looks. I was not going to put one on unless it helps the slippers wear or fit better. Thanks from Canada

I suppose, in theory, it could provide a wider base, so more stability? I'm honestly not sure, as I've never knitted one without it.

Ruh roh....I’ve been waiting for this next video but haven’t made outer soles yet...I must’ve missed something...was apparently not paying attention! Can I blame it on COVID? Or maybe I just messed up...back to look at my pattern!

Question: During felting when the clogs are wet - if you take them out of the washer too soon and dry them - can you reflect them to shrink them more later?? I am having a hard time figuring out when they are my size! Thank you so much Jana for all you do!!

Sure! You can also just try them on, or at least hold them up to your feet and see when they're wet. I would not put them in the dryer though. Just let them air dry

What if I skip the bumper and don’t use a suede or other sewn on sole?

I could have sworn I answered this question already, but maybe someone else asked something similar on another social media platform. I've never made them without the bumper, so I can't really attest to any differences personally. But, I can't see why you'd need it for any functional reason if you just didn't like the look of it and wanted to omit it.
