I’m in nursing school right now studying videos for my last skill check off and my instructors would have failed me if I did half of what this person is doing in their video. They drill into our heads the importance of maintaining sterile field and it was broken here about 30 times.

LOL yeh... as soon as U touched that edge of the sterile field... U failed :-)) We usually only allowed to touch the opposite part (blue part) of it...

So at Leicester University while training be a nurse, do they just leave the catheter drainage bag on the bed, because that isn't how it is taught to us, it must be securely attached to the bed, with the tubing going over the leg

gwen joplin I had to have a catheter for 7 weeks after surgery, going to the urologist every few days to determine if I would void by myself. I can promise you, this process was never done. EVER.
