this is very informative.. hindi ako student nurse.. pero may senior kame sa bahay.. makulit, magalaw, kaya natanggal ang catheter nya 10days pa lang.. nahihiya kame bumalik sa hospital kc di man lang umabot ng 2 weeks catheter nya.. 😔 and di din naman pwede lumabas ng brgy health center yung nurse sa brgy namin (bed ridden na kc senior nmin tapos makulit at magalaw pa.. kaya baka kame na lng tlga siguro mag iinsert sa kanya ng bagong catheter..

lagot, bat natanggal? may balloon dun sa loob para di basta2 matanggal... 2wks ago mo pa lng to na comment sana naka balik sa ospital and nakapag consult kayo ulet, wag po sana mahiya maiintindihan nmn yan ng mag healthcare providers esp. lam nila na elderly na ...

@@hwana6278 hinila po mismo ng pasyente namin dito sa bahay yung catheter.. 😔 kaya po natanggal.. buo pa po yung balloon nung hinila nya.. 😔 nalagyan din po sya ng catheter ng health worker ng brgy namin, kaso mali pagkakalagay.. nasa labas pala yung balloon.. 😔 kaya ayun ako na lng naglagay nung last last monday kc na tanggal ulit yung lagay ng health worker ng brgy namin.. tatanggalin ko na po bukas to replace new one po..

@@hwana6278 mahirap po na ibalik namin sa hospital pasyente namin dito sa bahay.. mama ko po to be exact.. kc po mabigat po sya, and dalawa lang po kame ng kapatid ko ang nagbabantay sa kanya.. kaylangan alalayan ng mga lalaki.. ehh babae po ako.. 😔😭 di ko po kaya kargahin mama ko po.. 😔

Hello po,im 33 years old naka catheter at pregnant po ako.. Reason:may naiiwan na ihi sa pantog kya kailqngan ko ng catheter.. Safe po ba sa buntis na mag catheter,hindi po ba xia nakaka infection kahit ilang days xia na di natatanggal,..?

Hello po, regarding po sa inyong concern if a catheter can cause infection, i would say that there is a RISK for infection IF the catheter is not handled properly because it is a foreign object inserted into the body. HOWEVER, I'm pretty sure that you have consulted your Obgyne or doctor prior to the insertion of the catheter. I believe binigyan ka ng advice kung kaylan yan kailangan I remove at kung ano ang dapat gawin to prevent infection. I would suggest po na you ask your healthprovider kasi mas higit ang kanilang kaalaman because I'm still a student nurse po.. Sana po naka tulong 💖

If it fell off with the balloon still inflated it means that you were not able to insert it properly sa iyong urinary bladder, because ang purpose ng balloon is to prevent it from falling off... Kung properly inserted Siya the only way to remove it is to deflate the balloon ..

You may also inquire with your clinical instructor for proper guidance since I am still a student nurse po..

I did my quick research po and it says, " for indwelling catheters, your catheter should not fall out because it is held in place by a small balloon which is inflated with sterile water after the catheter is inserted into the bladder. On rare occasions the balloon might be faulty and deflate and your catheter will fall out. In this case, or if you accidentally pull out your catheter, you must contact your doctor or nurse immediately or visit your local emergency department." hope this will help answer your query.
