The UK is not even close to the chaotic situation in the US. But it go's step by step in that direction. "The land of the free..."? In EVERY other DEVELOPED country citizens would send those mercenaries packing or grounded alone for the attitude. Or they would get arrested by TRUE police officers for harassment as mercenaries like them bring their colleagues into danger. You don't contact citizens without LAWFUL reasons aka a CRIME. Lying by the police is ABSOLUTELY a no go and leads to immediately kick out. No "Qualified immunity" (armed in uniform people with immunity that's simply :madness) everyone is responsible for their actions. There are up to 4 (!) INDEPENDENT institutions organisation watching over the "police - justice system ". And it take from 3-4 years to become a true police officer with ongoing training and monitoring in de-escalation psychology and LAW during a police officer career. Still violations happening as no police or military and alike forces is perfect. But without those boundaries and controls you end up at the point the US is: The US don't have a police force of a free nation that's a PARAMILITARY MECENARY ORGANISATIONEN TERRORISING citizens while crime rate is sky rocketing. *In 2023 the US I wannabe police killed at least 1232 people some calculations going up to 1300. That's not policing in any way shape or form that's terrorism. To call those unprofessional dangerous for the citizens society and freedom clowns police officers is a INSULT to all TRUE police officers. **compared to 3 in England /Wales 8 in Germany who got killed by the police in 2023. Not the combination of all deaths caused by the police in Europe INCLUDING the Balkan countries reaches this INSANE amount of deaths caused by "police". The US is beyond "protect your rights" how many people got killed in 2024? The best constitution or laws mean nothing if there are no consequences for dangerous mercenaries like them.
