Just to give some insight into the music video. As you might know but Dawn FM is heavy on the theme of purgatory ( the state between life and death. ) Within the music video Abel is caught in his own loop in which he translates his own memories and his guilt over his past actions into this scenario in which he thinks his girl is cheating on him. The one with the mask is the real Abel and he thinks he's seeing his girl cheat but in reality he's just watching himself. But the reason why he's spying and thinking she's cheating is because he did those things himself. As he says ''I used to be the one that was lying'' and because he did those things he now is so paranoid that he started to believe that there is/was someone else. This is also why nobody is present in the appartment anymore when he arrives because it was all in his mind. The only thing that's there is the telescope through which he starts looking again and thus the loop starts all over. It only ends when he let's go of his guilty and makes peace with that part of himself.
