I am a female martial artist with over 30 years experience. I would never try to go toe to toe with any man, no matter how small he was. There's a difference. If I was ever attacked I would try to stay out of his reach and hit vital spots as hard as I could - eyes, throat, groin, side of knees etc. to hurt him enough to get away. If he hit me direct one time I'd be in huge trouble. I know that. Any woman who thinks otherwise is stupid. That female boxer was a tough lady, but even she couldn't take a full power direct hit from a guy.
@philyew3617 Жыл бұрын
Some fair and sensible comments there but, you missed out the most important points. Never forget that you have the same spots for any attacker to go for on your body. Eyes, Throat, Groin, Knees etc. And don't forget men also know how to stay out of reach. Same targets and they all hurt like hell if hit, regardless of gender.

Remember that most people, be they male or female, are not professional fighters. So I have always been able to stay the heck out of (potential) fights. One time a stranger immediately threatened me to put a knife into me. @tessmoore3762 I'm curious, in your experience have you gotten that 'rage' for lack of a better term, that allows you to ignore all pain? I'm asking because when I got into a lot of fights when I was younger, I've had bones fractured, scalp nearly ripped off, and a couple of my fingers broken, and I didn't notice any of it until after the fight was over. When not in that state, I can still function but it'll hurt like hell, like when I got into a serious car accident that left me with purple and black bruises along the entire left side of my body, and multiple fractures. Walked out of the hospital the same day. I'm assuming as a fighter you have a higher pain tolerance, reason I'm asking.

And that's the point: We (men) KNOW women, without a WEAPON, are not a serious threat to our physical well being. Thus, unless you're one of those animal dudes who don't deserve to be loose in society, we treat women accordingly. IF (as a guy) you've ever wrestled or boxed against another guy...you KNOW the difference. We also KNOW how one-sided a physical confrontation would actually be if we had to fight a female. As a woman who has the utmost respect for men and their strength and would never dare touch a man this way simply because of that respect- I can see right through these kinds of women who like to challenge men. It’s not the men it’s their own ego that they’re obsessed with appeasing because they know their strength is not equal and don’t like it. They seem to get confused what equality means for them so they tell themselves they’re as strong and need to test and prove it. They have no respect for men let alone themselves thinking they are on the same level. They have forgotten their place. We have and always will be on the same team. Our strength is not equal for a specific reason. Women who don’t understand that- welp you gon learn today.
@joshrobinson506 Жыл бұрын
I know the women your talking about. I believe their are a lot of factors that go into their mindset. The ego is a big one. I think it comes from being physically dominant at a young age. When most young people start organized sports (10 to 11 years old or even younger) girls are dominant. They are better than the boys. Girls develop faster and reach full physical maturity much quicker. But by 14 or 15 the boys start to outclass them. The girls don't see this so much as they believe society is holding them back from competing because they are a girl. That's why they aren't allowed to play with the boys. In their minds its not a safety issue or a competitive issue its the vile patriarchy at it again. It gets even worse when they are in a martial arts class or some type of unofficial pickup game. The boys treat them very differently than they do the other boys. As a male you have to be careful around them, you don't want to exclude them and you don't want to hurt them. So you have to take it easy on them, pulling punches and sometimes not even throwing them. No matter what the girl does if you hurt her it is your fault and you will get in trouble. So you let them play, you let them win, you hold back so they can be competitive. At some point though that ends. If you get into real competitive sports the boys stop letting you win. Sadly instead of realizing what most men have to realize in their lives, this is the peak of my competitive abilities, they continue to blame men for holding them back.

They always bristled when I told them that to make it a fair competition they would need to find a man half their size. On a couple of occasions, I had to get in the ring or on the mat with on of them that just would not let it go. I will admit, that I was a bit of an ass when I was in my 20s and would often stand still at the center with my hands down and let them take the first swing. They never landed and the response was usually devastating since they would often leave themselves wide open. That was the only full-power swing I would launch. The only exception was the one that tried to kick me in the balls. Her I gave no quarter to and went after her. On the plus side, I never heard those women say anything that idiotic again.

I’m retired police officer, and Army vet. I (female, 5’2, 125) worked with another female officer, (5’8, 160) who, I noticed on a couple calls, was not practicing safe body awareness. I talked to her about it. She told me that she wasn’t afraid of any man, she could take care of herself. I warned her that even a male that was shorter, and lighter, had the strength to beat her, especially is she was close enough that he could sucker punch her. She laughed at me and walked away. Couple weeks later, a suspect jumped her, punched her, and was in the process of choking her out until our SGT showed up. He put a gun to his head and said, “Let go, or die”. He let go. The female officer told me after, that when he jumped on her, she froze. I didn’t have to say I told you so. In 20+ yrs as an officer, no one ever swung at me. I’m not saying I didn’t have to fight, I did. It was always to help another officer.

I worked with a female Marine Officer once who admitted over lunch to having a lot of attitude when she was younger. She said in her early training days she thought she was the equal of the men. She said one time she felt another male Marine "disrespected" her by going easy on her in combatives, so she attempted to kick him in the balls. She said he grabbed her so fast and ferociously, throwing her to the mat, that she was unable to react. She said it humbled her and she never again made the mistake of thinking she could just kick anyone's ass. I respected her even more for admitting it.

So I coached my daughter’s soccer team for a couple of years, disclaimer: I played coached and refereed for over 25 years, however at the time I had been retired for 15 years, I was in terrible shape but my daughter’s team had just come off a big win and were very “confident”. So they started speaking about how they could beat the boys team that they shared the field with. Well, I knew if they tried that their confidence would evaporate so I told them to pick their best athlete and I would do the “mirror drill” with her. So she starts running and I stayed right with her, BTW she was 18, so then we switched…. I took 3 steps and was gone…. she had no chance….. I explained to them that the public schools lie about how boys and girls were the same and the reality is God made us different, there’re many things girls can do that boys can’t and that they should cherish the differences as opposed to try to be the same.

I used to box (we called them "smokers") when I was in the SeaBees (Navy combat engineers). A female Marine (she was a big girl, probably a middleweight for women) challenged one of the guys in our battalion (he was a bean-pole and fought in my class, welterweight) to a boxing match. He tried to refuse , citing he didn't fell comfortable hitting a woman, but she became increasingly insulting and kept harassing him over it. After several weeks of her insulting him he finally caved in and agreed to the match. The Commander that ran the smokers allowed it only so long as both fighters used full protective gear and only fought two, two-minute rounds. First round, less than a minute in, and she was on the mat, dazed and bruised. She got back up, and he put her down again, hard! She didn't get back up. She barely laid a glove on him. I can't recall how many times he hit her, but it was a lot (mostly body blows). There are a lot of things women (on average) can do better then men, but competitive fighting (boxing, mixed martial arts, etc.) is definitely not one of them. This is why I agree that allowing transgender boxers and MMA fighters in the women's league is a bad idea. Guys like Fallon Fox (who is now retired) seriously injured their opponents, and guys like Alana McLaughlin (former special forces before "transitioning") will likely maim or kill one of their female opponents eventually.

I trained women in how to use firearms, and really wish women would stick with guns. Female brains can sort out all the factors that come into play during a gunfight, and tend to easier to train. In WW2, female Soviet snipers killed thousands of Germans, including one Ludmilla Pavlichenko, who single-handedly shot and killed some 250 Nazis. Those were just the ones she was able to confirm; we'll never know the real number, but it was almost certainly many times that. There is a place for females in war, but there are a lot of places women simply don't belong.

I worked in a state prison for 24 years. New officers usually fell into one of several categories. One was a superhuman who can beat up a group like Bruce Lee. I encountered a woman one day in the Recreation Yard who had a aggressiveness usually found in men. One this day , there was a bad fight on a basketball court . She went running into it ( which a definite never ever do that) . She grabbed a medium size male typical basketball player inmate and he swung around while she didn’t let go. I’m not sure if he knew it wasn’t a inmate attacking her but the speed and power sent her flying several feet. Another officer was able to get her out of the area as the pepper spray was slowly killing everyone. I later saw her in medical with a inmate ( who got his eyes flushed out) . She learned a several lessons that day. NEVER rush into what you don’t know what is going on and men are much stronger than women as this video shows. Statistics show that a world class female Olympic sprinter would lose to most high school male sprinters. That’s a clue. I’ve seen many impressive female athletes but the best female athletes would be a warm up partner for amateur males in the same sport. Look at the WNBA. Point proven.

Hey Folks. I know this might be off topic a little bit but I served in the Military for over 23 years. I've served all over the world and have worked with every branch of the Armed Forces. Many times when I went to a base with some of the guys, we would play pickup basketball games. I have never been very large or heavyset. I'm 5'10'' and at that time was about 150lbs. Often times, female soldiers would challenge us and wanted to play against us. Of course since I was one of the smaller players, most of the females wanted to play against me. Many times, these women were a lot heavier than me and bigger. That made not difference at all!! I dominated them in the post. I was usually faster, and could get to the rim anytime I wanted. Playing sports with women is TOTALLY different than playing against the guys. Even when the women would elbow me, push me, or try to run me over; it was NOT the same as when a guy would hit or foul me. God created differences between men and women for a reason. We should be embracing and celebrating these differences instead of challenging them!!!

It always plays out that way. I served 21 years as an Infantryman with about a quarter of that deployed in combat zones. The gap between male and females is wide as hell when it comes to average physical abilities. It’s why we lowered standards when they first were allowed to join. It’s why we lowered the standards in ranger and SF for them. It’s one of the reasons we changed that ACFT (after a two year train up 70% of the female population was still failing it) so we made it easier. The reality is, on the physical side of things a female will always be of lesser caliber. While that’s not the ‘be all, end all’ for a large portion of jobs in the service, in combat arms that has a direct correlation in your ability to survive combat.

The kickboxer lady at the end did way better than I thought she would. She def lost, but it wasn't as bad a loss as the other 2. At least she didn't say some dumb shit like "I can beat any Marine on base."

Well she is the best female fighter of all-time, of course she would last long as she did. This shows no matter how much training a female has, if a man trains half the time she did, it's over for the woman. Our bones and primal instincts are a huge advantage over females.

She won so easily against other women she thought she could match a man. Her head proved it was not the case. And you could see the male was not full on. Had he been she would have required medical attention a lot sooner and in a hospital. Amazes me any woman could think she can compete in such events against men. Even against smaller men she stands little chance.

Yeah, she was really good, the guy was also good, I think he was in a smaller weight class though, maybe she actually could have won against a weaker opponent, but with that she is the absolute exception. Most professional women, in 99% of the sports, would loose against guys who are on a good regional amateur level, the difference in strength, speed, reflexes, basically everything is to big.

That test with the pro boxer in the end was so bad, they just tried to hype her up. When they measured the power, the guy threw a JAB, and the female pro boxer threw a HOOK, ofc she will have more power. But the guy almost had the same power as her with a jab so... just proves that men are much stronger.

In martial arts, I've sparred against women who were several belts higher than me. They were fast, their form was good, but they lacked power and something indefinable, but intrinsic to men: a true killer instinct. Men have been programmed by biology to get the job done.

In grappling class, I could immediately tell when I'm grappling/rolling with a woman regardless of their fitness or skill level, even if you blindfolded me. Their bodies just feel different, softer and more pliable. When I grapple with a man, regardless of what shape he's in, there's just a certain solidity and hardness to the body that you know it's a male.

@4:14 - Where they were comparing the punching forces between the female boxer and the male, you can see the two were using different punches. The female boxer was closer to the target and slightly to the side with her using a more of a wide hook technique. This engages more of the core muscles along with the shoulder, arm, and pectorals all the way through the punch in a torque motion similar to major league baseball players swinging a bat for power homeruns. The male boxer is more separated from the target and center lined creating more of a jab or straight punch technique.

That kickboxing scene at the end shows it all... They were roughly the same size, and yes, she is competitive if there is a boxing match where the rules of boxing must be followed and it is against someone her size (although she still got demolished), but in a real fight, a bigger guy is going to take her to the ground and that is when it will all be over for her and she will be hospitalized, even as good a fighter as she is in a "controlled" environment.

props to her for sure but the mad thing is. the guy she fought is such a low level guy even as a champ amateur, someone on the level of sanchai or lerdsila would put this guy out in a round or i dunno if you are familiar with Liam Harrison. he looks like he could be smaller to be closer to her size.. go look at his instagram or go look at his highlights. savage. shows just the level difference. gotta give props to both sides of the coin. we should celebrate the difference they hold to their own genders instead of this men vs women shit as it's just gonna end with women getting put on their asses.
