When I reverted in 2022, the name "Rabi'a" was suggested to me as a name I might take as a new Muslim. I had no idea of the history behind the name, liked the sound of the name, and went with it! Just last night I realized that I wanted to look for more information on the most well-known Rabi'a. Alhamdulilllah, look what just popped up in my KZbin notifications. And I just learned last night to write the name, my name, in Arabic.

السلام عليكم SubhanAllah When we went to Jerusalem. We did not know much about Female Saints but our religion is so deep with a rich history. We learnt a lot about Rabi Al-Basri Mashallah. I hope we can all learn about the pious and try to improve ourselves to get close to Allah.

I am in Palestine, never heard of this place 😂 we are blind because of colonization and occupation, sufism almost disappeared completly after British conquest and creation of israel in Palestine.
