My friend has one I used for a couple hours one day was very comfortable. Like the high back! Firm support light weight. Only only complain I had was I wasn’t used to his setup and kept grabbing a loop instead of my handsaw.

Hullo hullo...Great video and Great review of this interresting saddle and your workflow...Thank You...! Idea a1: If you want, you can carefully slice-cut open one of the tubes on one loop, to check, if clipping "small" stuff, becomes easier. Idea a2: If the "loop-line then becomess Too flimsy, you Might need, to 3- braid a small line in, to "stiffen" the line-loop. PS: This will also shorten the loop slightly. Solstice greetings from Denmark...!

Great review thank you. Only issue I had with mine is the elastic leg straps weren't long enough and would sit to high being 6ft5. But after getting them extended they sit a lot lower on the leg and now its awesome!
@fernandoteran61502 жыл бұрын
How’d you extend them I’m 5’10 the legs straps slide up my legs touching the gum balls yk

Call Notch and ask if those plastic tubes can be removed. They may be there as "nice to have" and not required for functionality. I'm guessing they're used to stop things from sliding so fast

Hey, love the look of the Sentinel, how easy is it to clip into the front attachment points where the bridges are as they seem quite small. Where at the evo and sequoia are much bigger! Thoughts?

I'm 52, tried the all.... Damn guys, you have no idea about the weight us old dudes had to tote upstairs back in the day.... I'm a minimalist so I don't carry much with me and if I need of course I have it sent up. Sequoia saddles to me are the best ever. Loyal to petzl. Y'all keep it out of the the dirt. 🤟🏻

I ordered this harness, and sent it back instantly. I found it awful, buckles felt very cheap to the point I thought I could break them in half. Actually the whole harness felt cheap. It was a shame because I waited so long for this harness, had high hopes. So went back to tree motion. Notch have got very good design ideas on the harness,just wasn't finished well. Love your videos though

how does it feel when in a sitting position? does it pinch or pull on your hip or legs? thinking of going to this type of harness instead of my current hunting saddle which has thinner straps and no back support

I just ordered one of these. The ones they have on treestuff is the 4D and the floating D. Your bridge set up is different. Why is that? Have they been redesigned? I would much rather have your bridge setup than the floating D set up they come with? Thank you.

I don't know if it's optional or not but if you can try the monkey beaver climbing harness but August hunicke that's if you can get one I have to one small for summertime climbing one medium for winter time climbing with full winter gear I can carry up to 35 lb of gear extra into the tree with the custom suspenders did I introduce to my summer belt. I climb with the Rope Runner original SRT with petzl ascenders let's see your SRT skills I've only been in the game 49 years New School teaching Old School teaching new school.! Great review, channel, etc. I hope you can use your marketing power to encourage the corporate execs to stop outsourcing tree gear to China. It’s not a very comforting feeling to know that the stuff keeping us alive could be made in what we would call sweat shops by comparatively impoverished workers and potentially inferior materials. I trust “Made in USA”. Brand means nothing anymore... fair trade, not free trade, is what our industry should demand. Keep up the good work!
