scru is many good things, good rapper, good musician, good reactor, and many bad things, controversial, bigot, gaslighter etc... but first and foremost he is egomaniac and narcisist. common trait among celebrities and often socially acceptable but scru cant comfortably accept things that are different from his perspective, he sees them wrong and only reason he acts as if he is accepting of it is because he is aware he should come of as such cause he doesnt want to get canceled. he is uncomfortable with anything that goes against his idea of "standard" and he cant hide it cause as i said at begining he is many things both good and bad but as an egomaniac he is, he cant be a good actor so even if he tries to act as if he is woke and openminded his true feelings and thoughts always come to surface

Honestly, you say youre fine with it, but at the same time, a lot of people rap about women, yet when you flip it to be gay, then it's not as hard and you're visibly cringing? I honestly felt the same about some of the reactions to Rustage's WWC2 verse. Nobody was hateful or anything and I know it was a (deliberately) goofy verse but yeah, if he'd said "Avatar how she blue me" or "balls in her mouth like a hungry hungry hippo" I don't think people would have been as weird about it. In Scru's defense here I think there's a cultural thing with femboys where people in anime fan communities just accept it as part of the culture. I'm straight but I can appreciate an Astolfussy meme as much as the next man. If I was coming in cold, live on camera, I'd be chill but I don't know if I'd be as focused on the bars as I should be. It's a lot to take in lol.

@@jamielockdown Well I think people were surprised with Rustage's verse to be fair is cause they didn't see him in that way or figured he was straight so it surprised alot of people by those bars, if he said those lines you said it wouldn't faze them since they figured he was straight. Also me saying this isn't me saying he *is* straight, I'm just saying that Scru and others figured he was since he had a gf and has never (atleast from my knowledge) came out or been with a guy before atleast not publicly. Like swab said in his reaction, he was there with Rustage when he wrote that verse half a year ago (or a year and a half ago?) And said that he was trying to see how much crazy shit he could get away with saying.
