I rate Femi Koleoso as one of the best drummers in the history of jazz.

@@Anomaliayt Why do you think that a young drummer today cannot be as great as those of the past? I go by what my ears tell me.

@@ianbeddowes5362 Age has nothing to do with it. Check JD beck, Ronald Bruner, Xavier Ware, J rod Sullivan, Naima Acuña, Anika Nilles. What about Jamie Leigh Schultz? -- she's like 18 or something. And David Hodek etc etc. All these drummers are far more competent, and some much younger. Then we can start talking about older drummers... Thomas Pridgen, Tony Royster, David Garibaldi, Steve Gadd, Dave Weckl, Gary Novak, Vinnie Colaiuta, and arguably the best Anthonio Sanchez. I mean the list is endless. Not to mention, "History of Jazz" is an insane bracket. What makes you think Femi is so great? He has some fairly solid single strokes sometimes, I guess? I'll admit he plays with passion, which is important and can go a long way in a live setting. His technical ability is subpar, though. You are either crazy, or should get your ears checked to "rate him as one of the best in the history of jazz" :p

@@Anomaliayt none of the drummers you’ve mentioned can play like femi just like femi can’t play like them. All great musicians with their own unique sounds. I will say having seen some of them live none have an ability to move an audience like femi does. This attempt to try and put him down from you comes across weird.
