There couldn’t have been a better outcome for this dog. So many people pulled together to save its life. The sense of cooperation between different agencies was outstanding, no grandstanding, just doing the best for the animal. A fantastic surgery very well done, such an interesting case. Congratulations to all involved!

Oh jeez... I rescued an 8 year old Weimeraner. He caused me 6 years of panic, trauma, vet fees, marital conflict, a new cyclone fence, a GPS for when he jumped the fence to raid the dumpster at KFC, and more. He poisoned himself repeatedly, 2X gastric volvulus and hospitalization, aquatherapy (pool treadmill) for neuropathy and paralysis... Best dog ever. Miss him so much.

I have a dog that is going through the same but she was born with the condition. Please give me a way to talk to you about this? I am an animal activist and my dogs give me the strength to wake up everyday and this is really hard for me. We are yet to schedule the surgery.
