FENCE WIRE IN KNOTS / UPPER FIELD ELECTRIC FENCE WIRE 2.5MM

When rolling out the 2.5mm high tensile electric fence wire it gets tangled and ends up in knots. It takes me 3 hours to free up, My patients are tested on this project.
We also dig out a eco pond level area that will become my vegetable garden. fit the pig slots over the settlement tank and pang the fence posts into the ground with the 13 tonne digger all before it goes off hire.
I want to build an off-grid homestead in Northern Ireland where I will grow and feed my family with chemical free and full of nutrients-packed food on a daily basis. I want to create a healthy lifestyle that my three kids will look back on fondly and to a place they will eventually call home.

When you roll out HT by hand, hook the roll in one arm and walk backwards paying out 6 or 5 coils off the top of the coil, it should look like an old telephone wire laid out in front of you. Then turn the roll 180° and pay out another 5 or 6 coils from the bottom. Pause and pull the wire slightly and the coils will cancel each other out and leave the wire dead straight. Keep repeating this as you go. Give it a go, and you'll easily be able to control the torsion in the reel.👍

Thanks bespokefencing I'll defo have to give that a go. I was trying to save walking up and down the run several times but this time my plan back fired lol

hi pete just found your channel. wires look grand mate im not a expert just a farmer down in new zealand. i tie of the same way but only wrap 3 times so i can keep the handle short to get a nice tight wrap going. we use bolt cutters to cut the wire much easier you can stand one end of the wire hold the other with one hand and use your other hand and knee to cut the wire so it dosnt bugger off down the feild

Hi and welcome! I have just started to edit next video where I mention spacing for my fence wire. From bottom up, I'm going with 16, 26 and 36 inches. I have sheep and they are staying behind 2 strands of ploy wire.
