I had always wondered about other ground rod distance. I suspect one of mine is too close to utility company ground rod.

How do you connect the multiple grounding rods together?

You would simply have ground rod clamps on each of your ground rods and run one, continuous piece of wire through each clamp to the next. We have copper and stainless ground wire, as well as grounding kits for 5ft and 6ft rods. We had several questions about grounding with multiple rods, so we will likely do a follow up video soon!

@KencoveFarmFence Thank you! I look forward to the video. May I suggest more detail as to the progress of determining how many rods should be used?

Can you connect multiple ground rods with a bare copper wire and then the bare copper wire to the Energizer? Or does it have to be insulated wire for some reason?

We offer copper and stainless ground wire options. You would run one continuous piece of ground wire through a clamp on each ground rod. That same continuous piece of wire can hook directly to the negative terminal of the energizer. It does not necessarily have to be an insulated ground wire. If the fence lead out wire (positive) and the ground wire lead out (negative) run close in proximity to one another, it would be a good idea to use coated or insulated wire, especially on the positive strand.
