My jazzmaster broke twice in less than a year first the motherboard then the microphones. Very delicate to take them on the road.

Really! Wow. That’s wild. I travel with mine constantly and this is the first issue I’ve had with the guitar. I’ll have an update on it and the repair soon I hope!

Thanks for this awesome review. I just received my Player Acoustasonic (same finish as yours). I'd really like to see a detailed review on your new Player (favorite sounds, rig details...).

Oh, it’s coming! The player series is fascinating compared to the American series of Acoustasonics.

Absolutely love my Acoustasonic Telecaster..also my #1 guitar! Although I did have the bridge pickup go out (during a gig …of course) and it’s being replaced under warranty..bummer but would trade this guitar for anything! Hope al works with the battery repair… I’m also thinking of getting a mim player acoustasonic as a backup…looking forward to see what you think of them!

I should have a video on the players series out soon.

Just bought my fender acoustasonic telecaster bit worried about your battery problems... as it will probably happen to mine. . Love the guitar but this could be a negative.. looking forward to your update. Thanks for posting .

I’ll be sending an update out, but to be quite frank, this is unlikely to happen to your guitar and if it does, only after it goes through several hundred charge cycles. I don’t think it is a coincidence that the new player series has a removable battery. Removables give user choice and freedom.

Hi! How’d the battery issue work out? Great vlogs! Keep up the hard work!

I actually watched that yesterday:) another great and honest production. I was a bit disappointed at Fenders first tier reaction tho as that’s what us normal peeps would be greeted with.

@@gordontweston I get it, and TBH, it didn't surprise me too much. At the same time, having worked customer service in a similar industry, I'm surprised I wasn't at least escalated to a broader safety team by Fender. If people are being hurt or property damaged, that's the kind of thing that can quickly spiral out of control from a PR standpoint for a company.

Absolutely, thankfully we have a platform to let them know through you and other KZbinrs. So far so good with mine. Thanks again!

Appreciate the info you've been sharing on the acoustasonic! Question please... since you've been gigging with it a lot, does it encounter the same usual feedbacking problems like with normal acoustic/electric guitars in a small or big venue?
@officialWWM Жыл бұрын
Nope. Never!
@reverenddoctor3 ай бұрын
@officalWWM speaks the truth: I have had essentially zero feedback issues with this guitar.

I have a lot of love for the Player Series Acoustasonic! If I'd purchased only that guitar, I would still be using it full-time!

Love my tele acoustisonic! What's your fav strings for it? I've been using GHS white bronze acoustic 11s based on guitar shop recommendation. I'm always open to other suggestions. Aloha!
@reverenddoctor3 ай бұрын
I went to 13s, haha! Martin Phosphor bronze, I believe. I play it much more frequently as an acoustic guitar than an electric guitar. The way I've adjusted is by putting heavier strings on my electrics when I go to play them (usually 11s or 12s) so it's not so jarring 😝

Unless I missed something I wanted to know did Fender take care of your battery failure??

I've had the Player Series Acoustasonic and it actually has a lot of advantages over the American-made model, despite fewer sounds.
@officialWWM3 ай бұрын
@@reverenddoctor I agree. I play mine a lot. It’s great for quiet songwriting moments and I love it for solo acoustic gigs. It’s much more stage friendly than a normal acoustic. However, the top on mine has cracked and you can visibly see 2 lines on the top either side of the bridge, so I don’t hold out much hope for its long term stability!

@@reverenddoctor yep, sure did and I’m pretty sure mine is not the only one! Maybe I will make a video 🤷🏻♂️
